DAY1: Downtown Chengdu: Jinli—Wuhou Temple—Du Fu Thatched Cottage—Kuanzhai Alley

Walking with the elders, the cultural relics and historic sites in the urban area must not be missed, and the card was punched in a very patterned manner.

Jinli, one of the oldest streets in downtown Chengdu, can be traced back to the Western Shu, just beside Wuhou Temple. Enter from the south gate, walk all the way to the north, open the mode of shopping and eating, solve the lunch and visit the scenic spots, there is a small gate at the north end, you can buy tickets to enter Wuhou Temple, without going back.

Wuhou Temple, the ancestral hall commemorating Zhuge Liang, got its name because Zhuge Liang was conferred the title of Marquis of Wuxiang during his lifetime. Today's Wuhou Temple is the only temple in China where the emperor and his ministers are worshipped together. It is composed of Wuhou Temple, Han Zhaolie Temple and Huiling Mausoleum.

Because you enter from the small gate, the route to play is from north to south, in order: Sanyi Temple, Wuhou Temple, Han Zhaolie Temple, Huiling, Tang Bei Ming Bei.

Du Fu Thatched Cottage, the former residence of the poet Du Fu, has been repaired and expanded many times in history. The current Thatched Cottage Museum has simple and elegant architecture, quiet and beautiful gardens, and the calligraphy corridor is the most worth seeing (it’s just a personal opinion).

Kuanzhai Alley is an ancient street in the Qing Dynasty composed of Kuan Alley, Narrow Alley, and Well Alley in parallel. The quadrangle courtyards with blue bricks and black tiles in the block evolved from barracks, combining the characteristics of northern alleys and southern alleys.

DAY2: Chengdu - Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding - Mount Siguniang

In the Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, all kinds of giant pandas, medium pandas, and red pandas are cute and lovely, and they have been attacked by BiuBiuBiu from the cosmic cute showman.

Of course, the "crispy noodles" are also cute!

After all kinds of relaxation and comfort, the difficult dungeon of this itinerary officially started. In the afternoon, we went to Mount Siguniang, and the unpredictable weather in western Sichuan gave us a head-on blow.

The original 4-hour journey was abruptly driven for 6 hours... The Duwen Expressway was broken by mudslides, and the Balang Mountain Tunnel was repaired, so we had to "transfer from the national highway to the provincial highway to the rural road" and cross the Balang Mountain Pass ( The altitude is about 4,500 meters)... all the way to the cliffs, clouds and fog, and walking in the dark.

The road to Shu is difficult, but it is difficult to go to the blue sky!

Arrived at Siguniang Town at around 8:30 in the evening. Most of the shops in the town were closed. I ate hot pot at a Tibetan family’s home, washed up and fell asleep.

DAY3: Mount Siguniang - Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area - Jiaju Tibetan Village

In the early morning, Siguniang Mountain shrouded in clouds and mist just woke up, and we embarked on a journey.

Siguniang Mountain is named after four closely connected snow-capped mountains, of which the northernmost Yaoguniang Mountain is the highest, with an altitude of 6,250 meters. It is said that on the clearest day, Siguniang Mountain can be seen in downtown Chengdu.

We waited for a long time at the viewing platform. The Daguniang Mountain, Erguniang Mountain, and Sanguniang Mountain on the right are very clear. The Yaoguniang Mountain on the far left can only be vaguely seen, and the photos cannot be taken, which is a bit regrettable.

At present, there are only three gullies developed in Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area: Shuangqiao Gou, Changping Gou and Haizi Gou. Among them, Haizigou is the most primitive and must ride a horse or walk all the way. Changpinggou can take a half-way scenic bus. Shuangqiaogou is the most thoroughly developed and can take a full-time bus.

Well, hehe, it is impossible to walk on foot... We simply chose Shuangqiaogou.

It's not yet the season to see snow, and there is no blue sky today. The lake in Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area is still clear, reflecting the green mountains and dead trees.

After leaving the Shuangqiaogou Scenic Area, head west all the way, arrive at Jiaju Tibetan Village at night, and stay directly at the B&B in the scenic area. Dinner is a side dish cooked by the owner of the homestay. With a little wine, I had a good time.

DAY4: Jiaju Tibetan Village in Danba County - Guanyinqiao Town

"Jiaju" means hundreds of families in Tibetan. The Tibetan village is built along the mountain, winding and winding, with Tibetan-style buildings scattered among the green trees.

After a night of wind and rain, we ushered in the rare blue sky and white clouds. Today's Tibetan village does not have the imagined smoke, but it is extraordinarily refreshing.

In the afternoon, head north along the Dadu River. This section is also known as Jinchuan. The river is turbid and swift, reflecting golden light under the sunlight.

Falling rocks can be seen everywhere along the road, and the cars stop and go, arriving at Guanyinqiao Town before evening.

Guanyinqiao Town, the only place where the Sichuan-Tibet Highway must pass, is on the 318 National Highway. When driving from Chengdu to Tibet, most tourists will choose this as the first stop, so the town is much more lively and prosperous than imagined.

There is a Guanyin Temple in the town, which is said to be very efficacious. Some tourists will go to pray for blessings and bless the journey.

The biggest disadvantage in the town is the dirty water. It's really dirty. The white tap water makes it hard to wash your hands.

DAY5: Guanyinqiao Town - Seda Sky Burial Terrace - Seda Buddhist College

Today's destination is Sertar, and there is a normal traffic jam on the road.

Get out of the car to take pictures, buy fruits, kill the waiting time, relieve the anxiety of traffic jams, and start to enjoy all kinds of accidents during the journey.

At around 2:00 p.m., when we arrived at the Seda celestial burial platform, preparations for the ceremony were already underway, and the eagles arrived one after another, circling in the air endlessly.

We waited for about half an hour, but in the end we couldn't pass the checkpoint in our hearts, and couldn't bear to watch it any longer, so we went down the mountain and went straight to Seda Buddhist College.

Entering the Seda Buddhist Academy is another twists and turns. You can stay in the Buddhist Academy, but you can’t book it online or by phone. You must register for accommodation on the spot. Vehicles without accommodation registration are not allowed to enter the Buddhist Academy...Death cycled...

So I entered the Buddhist Academy first, and took the bus in the courtyard to go up the mountain. The first hotel was full, and I hurried to a higher place for 10 minutes to find the second hotel. I finally had a room. , before and after 2 hours to settle down.

Poor me, at a high altitude of more than 4,000 meters, I traveled a thousand kilometers, and the peripheral nerves of my hands and feet felt a sense of hypoxia. Fortunately, the hotel I found was in a good location, just next to the Golden Dome, overlooking the entire Buddhist academy, the view is superb!

Seda Buddhist Academy, the full name of Sertar Wuming Buddhist Academy, was officially established in the 1980s. From the 1990s to the beginning of this century, the number of personnel increased rapidly and the scale gradually expanded. The red monk’s house was built next to the Buddhist Academy as the center. , densely covered on the hillside.

At night, the lanterns are lit, and the entire hillside is shining brightly. Standing on the top of the hill and looking up at the starry sky, the starlight and lights complement each other, as if you are in a magical space.

The people here probably believe that faith has become their life. Even in the cold night, they still turn prayers and pray for blessings devoutly.

DAY6: Seda Buddhist College - Kasa Lake - Tagong Grassland - Yalong River - Litang

It was another night of heavy rain, and there were still some clouds and mist on the top of the mountain in the distance. As the sky gradually brightened, the panoramic view of Seda became clear. The red houses were densely packed like honeycombs. Like a poem and picture scroll, the Buddhist saying "Om Mani Padme Moo" on the mountainside is particularly eye-catching.

The car drives out of the hotel and goes down slowly. Along the road, you can enjoy Seda from various angles. Unlike the overlooking from the top of the mountain, you are looking up at this time. The huts are the temporary homes of believers, and even more so. Belief, Faith, Where the Heart Goes.

Seda is the westernmost part of this itinerary, and we will go to Tibet further west. We started to go south, passed through Kasa Lake, Tagong Grassland, and Yalong River along the way, and arrived in Litang County for a full 10 hours.

Gao Fan started to attack belatedly, slept all the way, and only took pictures of Tagong Grassland.

Litang, the traffic artery of Ganzi Prefecture, is the only place most tourists go to Daocheng Yading. A few days ago, because Ding Zhen has completely become popular on the Internet, what we linger on is the Matsutake Yak Soup Pot.

DAY7: Litang - Haizishan Observation Deck - Rabbit Mountain - Daocheng County - Daocheng Yading Scenic Area

Maybe it was the matsutake and yak soup pot that played a role. Today, I cheered up again, swept away the sluggishness of yesterday, and went on the road happily.

Today is another day of driving. It takes 4 hours to drive from Litang to Daocheng Yading Scenic Area. I stop to take pictures on the road, and have lunch in Daocheng County. It is already three o'clock in the afternoon when I enter the Yading Scenic Area.

The heavy snow arrived as promised on the way over Haizi Mountain. The large and small Haizi Mountains and the Rabbit Mountain on the opposite side were all covered in snow. The land was completely white, except for the yaks, which became the only decoration on the vast land.

The plateau area is so unpredictable, winter is approaching on the mountain, and spring will return to the earth below the mountain, and the sea of Gesang flowers in Daocheng County is swaying and brilliant.

Arrive in Daocheng at lunch time, have eaten Chinese food in the county seat, prepare enough dry food and fruits, here I come to Daocheng Yading!

Daocheng County has the highest airport in the world - Daocheng Yading Airport. Friends who don't have enough time or don't like long-distance self-driving can fly directly to Daocheng from Chengdu, Xi'an and other western cities, just be careful.

Daocheng County is also the best supply place before entering the scenic spot.

Parked the car at Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, took luggage, bought tickets, and took the bus. It was already 4 pm.

The 1-hour scenic bus still has to go over the mountain. The fog on the mountain seems to linger all year round. As the evening comes, Mount Yading becomes more mysterious.

The hotel in Yading was booked on Ctrip the night before. It was really good. The old man in the hotel was very experienced and responsible. He would explain all kinds of plateau knowledge and the best routes for long and short routes. Because of his help, we I successfully completed the long line that I thought would be high-reverse, without using an oxygen bottle!

DAY8: Daocheng Yading short-term: Chonggu Temple - Pearl Sea - Xiannairi - Chonggu Meadow

Yading short-term: Even if you have lived in Yading Village, you still have to take the scenic bus for 1 hour to reach Chonggu Temple. According to the grandfather's plan, we took the first bus in the morning, avoided temples and meadows when we got off the bus, walked along the small path, and arrived at Pearl Sea in 40 minutes. Reflected in the sea of pearls, before the crowds arrive, you can shoot in various poses, until the voices of the people gradually start to climb the mountain.

Note: very important. Watching the reflection of Xian Nairi in the Pearl Sea, the most important thing is that the wind is calm. Once the wind blows in Xian Nairi, the mountains will be covered by snow and mist, and the Pearl Sea will not see the reflection when the wind blows the waves. Even at the Pearl Sea, it will only be foggy. One slice, nothing to see. So be sure to arrive early, you must arrive at Pearl Sea before 8:30 at the latest.

Continuing to climb the mountain, the wind started to blow in Xiannairi at this time, so I could only ride a gust of wind and take a few quick photos. After waiting for a long time on the viewing platform, the photos I took were not as good-looking as those taken casually on the road.

The little squirrels on the viewing platform are not afraid of life at all, which adds a lot of fun to our waiting.

On the way down the mountain, first turn to Chonggu Temple for a visit, then take a look at the scenery on the Chonggu Meadow, and return to the hotel leisurely to prepare for tomorrow's long journey.

Staying in the hotel all afternoon? How can it be?

"Expedition" on the unknown path next to the hotel, a large area of highland barley, wild flowers all over the mountain, gurgling streams...

DAY9: Daocheng Yading Long Line: Luorong Cattle Farm - Yangmaiyong - Milk Sea - Five Color Sea, Shangri-La Town

For the Yading long line, I started on the road with anxiety. I still took the scenic bus to reach Chonggu Temple, and then changed to a battery car to Luorong cattle farm. After passing through Luorong cattle farm, you can ride a horse. The end of the horse trail is the starting point of the long line.

However, we obeyed the old man's instructions and did not ride horses, so we started from the Luorong cattle farm, patting, walking, and resting for a while, and we were not as tired as we imagined.

Luorong Niuchang, the filming location of many film and television dramas, when the weather is good, you can look at Yang Maiyong from a distance. I probably, maybe, maybe half of Yang Maiyong was photographed. I didn’t ask anyone when I was shooting, and I didn’t look for the grandfather Confirmed, let’s take a look~

Passing through the Luorong Cattle Farm, people and horses walk together for a long time. In order to accommodate the mules and horses, the road is paved with fine stones, and people are not tired when walking. It is just random scattered horse manure, which makes people "refreshing".

The slope of the horse path is not big, and some stones are set up every other section of the road for tourists to rest. There are mountains on both sides of the road. It is said that there are sixteen mountains, which are called "Sixteen Mountains".

The mountains are majestic and rolling. Because of the weather, the mountains are shrouded in clouds and mist, and occasionally release some slight sunlight, which will spoil me and other mortals on the journey.

The end of the horse trail is Sheshen Cliff, and you will arrive there before you know it. You can rest and adjust here, and have a snack to satisfy your hunger and reduce your burden.

The real challenge has not yet begun, and some people are ready to turn back because of unbearable high resistance and long-distance fatigue.

Perhaps the meaning of this cliff is that we should give up our last worries, put aside all our troubles, muster up our last courage, and throw ourselves into the embrace of nature!

The most difficult 500-meter road in the long line is a steep slope of 75 degrees. I was exhausted in less than 1/3 of the time, and then I could only use my hands and feet, disregarding my image, gritting my teeth, and lingering.

From time to time on the steps, someone would take out an oxygen tank and gasp for breath. In such a harsh natural environment, it is a god without high anti-reflex...

Struggling to a fork, you can choose to go to the Five Colors Sea (steep uphill on the right) or to the Milky Sea (go straight and downhill).

Is it still worth choosing? Simply come first, go to the sea of milk!

The gentle downhill is not easy to walk. We have reached an altitude of 4,700 meters. After about 2 hours of hiking, we are still out of breath even on flat roads.

There are no green hills to be seen on both sides, and the vegetation can barely cover the lower hillsides.

Because there is a creek beside the plank road, the road is muddy and wet, and the sky is getting darker at this time. It seems that it will rain at any time. The road is long, and I don’t know when I will go.

It takes an instant to reach the sea of milk, that is, when you are walking, you suddenly see a blue lake, and suddenly you see the sea of milk in front of you.

We were actually among the early group of people who arrived at the Milky Sea (later we learned that more people chose to go to the Five-colored Sea first), so after eating the rest of the dry food and fruits by the Haizi leisurely, we set off slowly .

In the milk sea, another group of people will go back home and stop going to the five-color sea. To play Daocheng Yading, motivation, endurance, and perseverance are indispensable.

There are also some people who will walk along the lake to the other side to see different scenery from different angles, and they can also find the "Locke Line" to remember their predecessors.

At the right back of Laishi Road, there is a wooden ladder leading to the five-color sea. After climbing up slowly for a while, you can turn around and enjoy the panoramic view of the Milky Sea. You can stay here forever. After all, after passing this section of the road, there will be no such sea .

Climbing to the highest point is the five-color sea.

Different from the delicate and petite sea of milk, the sea of five colors is large, and it seems to be a bit deeper, with richer and brighter colors.

Sure enough, there are a lot of tourists here, and some Internet celebrities are shooting VLOGs. Fortunately, the five-color sea is big enough and the coastline is long.

On the way down the mountain, I saw another small lake, which should be part of the five-color sea. I was too tired, so I didn't go down to the beach.

Some things are inevitable after all...

Remember that fork?

Remember the steep uphill to the right of the fork?

That's right, he's turned downhill now! (cover face)

Uphill, gasp! Downhill, dangerous!

The mental journey of climbing down is: overwhelmed, flustered, lost, lost...

Back at the grandpa’s hotel, I was already very tired, but I really didn’t want to stay on the plateau. With the last bit of strength, I took the last daylight and took the last scenic bus.

Going out of the scenic spot, staying in Shangri-La Town, and finally came to a place at an altitude of 2,000 meters, even breathing is pleasant!

Shangri-La Town, about 6 kilometers away from the Daocheng Yading Scenic Area, is a lively town. The town is dominated by accommodation, catering and other tourism industries. Most tourists will choose to stay in Shangri-La Town outside the scenic area because they are not used to the high altitude in the scenic area. .

If you live in the town and want to play full-length and short-term, you can buy tickets for the second entry to the scenic spot, which is more expensive and takes longer to enter and exit the scenic spot.

DAY10: Shangri-La Town - Xinduqiao Town

After crossing Haizi Mountain again, the mountain was still covered with heavy snow. I could not enter Litang County, and headed southeast. There was still a little snow when I passed Yajiang County. It was evening when I arrived at Xinduqiao Town, so I stayed.

Xinduqiao Town is known as "Photographer's Paradise".

The rolling mountains are covered with snow all the year round, and herdsmen’s huts are scattered in twos and threes on the boundless grassland. Cattle and sheep are leisurely foraging among the streams. If it is sunny, the light will be refracted in various fantastic angles, like a dreamlike idyllic pastoral The sight is haunting.

It's a pity that it was already evening when we arrived, and it was even more difficult to see light and shadow in rainy and snowy days. The cold wind was blowing, and a sense of loneliness was born.

DAY11: Xinduqiao Town - Zheduo Mountain - Kangding City - Hailuogou - Luding Bridge - Chengdu

To the east of Xinduqiao Town, there is Gongga Snow Mountain Viewpoint,Gongga Snow Mountain is the highest peak in Sichuan. The top of the mountain is covered with snow all the year round. On a sunny morning, under the sunshine, you can see the spectacle of "Sunshine Golden Summit".

Further to the east is Zheduo Mountain. When we were in Seda, we heard that Zheduo Mountain was blocked by heavy snow. After so many days, there is still snow on both sides of the road. There are many viewing platforms on the road for tourists to stop to watch the snow and park for rest.

Snow covered the vehicles on the road, houses on the side of the road, and even the road itself, all became landscapes.

While playing and driving, within 2 hours, Zheduo Mountain has already gone down.

It is hard to imagine that Kangding City at the foot of the mountain is actually sunny. We had to take off our down jackets and only wore short sleeves. If we went all the way back to Chengdu, it would only take 3 hours.

However, we still want to see Hailuogou. Yes, the original idea was to just take a look...um...then we went to the snow mountain again...hehehehe...

What kind of mountain is this snow mountain? We're not really sure either.

It's just that the Gaode map shows Gongga Road, so we take it for granted that it should be Gongga Snow Mountain, right?

Maybe?

Not far from the snow mountain, there is a river beach full of red rocks. According to some guides, this is the periphery of Hailuogou. I randomly found two viewing spots and took pictures from different angles.

After shopping and eating in Moxi Ancient Town outside Hailuogou Glacier Forest Park, we will return.

Today, the efficiency is really high. On the way back, there is Luding Bridge, and the Dadu River is under the bridge.

The Luding Bridge still maintains the appearance of the Long March. The iron cables cross the river, and the simple planks are entwined with iron wires and laid on the iron cables. , you can imagine the danger of "flying across the Luding Bridge" back then.

Back in Chengdu, I have eaten fish head hot pot many years ago, and I will visit again, and it still tastes the same.

DAY12: Chengdu - Dujiangyan - Chengdu

I didn’t intend to go to Dujiangyan today, but the strategy said that there are many accidents in western Sichuan, so I set aside an extra day when buying air tickets to prevent accidents. In this way, there is nowhere to go after an extra day.

Dujiangyan is a world cultural heritage and a world irrigation engineering heritage. Located in Dujiangyan City, 80 kilometers northwest of Chengdu City, it takes 3 hours to drive back and forth.

Located on the Minjiang River in the west of the Chengdu Plain, it was built in the last years of King Qin Zhao (about 256-251 BC). It was a large-scale water conservancy project organized and built by Li Bing, the prefect of Shu County, and his son on the basis of the digging by the predecessors.

The Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project is composed of water-dividing Yuzui, Feishayan, Baopingkou and other parts. It has been playing the role of flood control and irrigation for more than two thousand years, making the Chengdu Plain a "land of abundance" where floods and droughts are free from people and fertile fields. The irrigation area has reached more than 30 counties and cities, with an area of nearly 10 million mu. It is the oldest, only surviving, and still in use grand water conservancy project in the world. It is characterized by water diversion without dams. The crystallization of wisdom, bravery and wisdom.

Dujiangyan Scenic Area mainly includes Fulong Temple, Erwang Temple, Anlan Cable Bridge, Yulei Pass, Lidui Park, Yulei Mountain Park, Yunv Peak, Lingyan Temple, Puzhao Temple, Cuiyue Lake, Dujiangyan Water Conservancy Project, etc.

Note: The introduction of Dujiangyan above is all from Baidu Encyclopedia.

There are battery cars in the scenic area, no need to sit, the place is not big, and it only takes about 3 hours to play around slowly.

DAY13: Downtown Chengdu: Wenshu Monastery - Qingyang Palace

On the last day, visit the last two traditional scenic spots in downtown Chengdu, Wenshu Monastery and Qingyang Palace.

Wenshu Monastery, an ancient temple built in the Sui Dynasty, is magnificent and peaceful.

Qingyang Palace, a Taoist temple, was built in the Tang Dynasty.

Wenshu Monastery and Qingyang Palace are not big, and it takes less than an hour to walk around, and they are both in the urban area, half a day is enough.

Finally, put some delicacies in this itinerary.
