Primer ------
This morning, in a fantastical, ethereal dream, I slept until three poles in the sun and woke up.
About Tibet, about travel, about everything on the road.
In my dream, I danced and danced on the vast grassland, tasted the spring in the gurgling stream, watched the sunset on the long river in the lonely Gobi Desert, listened to the wind, bathed in the rain, and watched the sea of clouds in the mountains... Then I was in a daze for a long time, fiddled with Tune in on your dusty heartstrings.
The beneficial wind of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau blows the prayer flags flying all over the sky, and the meandering mountains show me charming smiles through the mist and veil.
After that, my friend and I discussed about going to Tibet, and so on.
I am determined to realize the trip to Tibet in 2018, not just like the people in the circle shouting "If you have the opportunity, you must go to Tibet once". I was serious.
"Looking at the cliffs hanging on the faults, thinking about the sky and sighing at the sky", Tibet not only has magnificent mountains and rivers, pure heaven and earth, but also beautiful love poems by peerless talents. Only by visiting this place in person can I understand my love for the rest of my life, so I am determined to find...

The small heat has arrived, Chengdu is 22°. After the rain, the streets are wide, Yulin Road. A song became popular in a place. I thought that "tavern" generally refers to a bar street. After I visited it, I found out that there is only one on Yulin Road, and the name is "bistro". Looking for the artistic conception in Zhao Lei's song, with a touch of melancholy in our thoughts, we broke free from the cage that bound our souls and met on the streets of Chengdu at midnight in July.
DAY 2: Ya'an, Dadu River, Luding, Hailuogou (335 kilometers per day, Hailuogou adult ticket: 160 yuan)
The blue sky is waiting for misty rain, the distance is waiting for you. Departing from Chengdu early in the morning, the rain has been falling non-stop. In the mist and rain, the elegant scenery of Sichuan and thousands of miles of brocade and Sichuan can be seen.
All the way through Ya'an, across the Dadu River to Luding, the mountains and rivers are covered with light mist, like ink smudges. The early morning in Ya'an is so quiet that it makes people feel distressed. The earthquake many years ago seems to have gone away, but what remains in people's hearts is the lingering memory.
The high-quality peaches planted by the villagers along the Dadu River can buy 5 catties for 10 yuan, which is super good!
In western Sichuan, the holy mountain Gongga, known as the "King of Shu Mountains", towers over all peaks with its towering 7556-meter body. There are many peaks in the mountainous area, the ice is hard and the snow is deep, and there are many obstacles. Thousands of miles of silvery white snow are crawling under the mountain. And Gongga Mountain has a beautiful dream, that is Hailuogou. This "half in the sky, half in the world", a fairyland where ice, snow and hot springs blend, presents different beautiful scenery all year round, and rainy days are also like this. Today, because of the rain, we did not witness the majesty of the holy mountain with our own eyes, but the rich and verdant vegetation and the high-quality ecological environment of Hailuogou made us linger.
Hailuogou under a sunny day (picture from the Internet)
Caohaizi, the water is beautiful and the grass is fertile, quiet and fresh.
Stone murals in Hailuo Temple -----
DAY 3: Moxi Ancient Town, Luding Bridge, Kangding County, Zheduo Mountain (559 kilometers per day, Luding Bridge crossing experience fee: 10 yuan)
Early in the morning, a crisp crowing of cocks woke us up in the fresh air of Moxi Ancient Town, and the town, after a night's rest, started her busy life again. We had a special breakfast with the local residents. When we looked up, the sun was shining through the clouds, and the holy mountain that we had never seen in Hailuogou yesterday appeared before our eyes, which made us ecstatic. Drive along the Dadu River on the S318 line, trace the history all the way to the Luding Bridge. On May 29, 1935, the Chinese Workers' and Peasants' Red Army passed by here on the Long March. A commando led by 22 warriors braved the enemy's bullets and crawled forward on the chain bridge to wipe out the bridgehead guards in one fell swoop. "Flying over the Luding Bridge" opened the channel for the Red Army's Long March to go north to resist Japan, composing a "thrilling, dangerous, strange, and unique" war miracle in the history of the Chinese revolution and the history of the world's military, making it an important historical memorial site for the Communist Party of China. Saying goodbye to the flames of war, keeping in mind the bloody history and revolutionary ancestors, we set off again, today's destination ----- Daocheng Yading.
When we left Luding County and arrived in Kangding County, we were in high spirits, humming "Kangding Love Song" all the way, and when we sang "Kangding Love Song", we would naturally think of the tender Kangba man.
Kangba man (network picture)
From Kangding, the 4298-meter Zheduo Mountain was conquered by us. Prayer wall, imagining the road to heaven, what a vision!
On the graffiti walls of restaurants along the Sichuan-Tibet line, you can see the heroic words and beautiful visions left by the westward travelers everywhere. My daughter and I also swiped our pens and left our sincere prayers on the wind and rain journey!
DAY 4: Daocheng, Yading, Shangri-La Town (230 kilometers per day, Aden adult ticket: 270, including scenic spot ticket 170 + tourist bus ticket 120, to reach the core scenic spot, you need to take a battery car 50 yuan/one way)
Going out of Zheduo Mountain in the west, cattle and sheep are grazing leisurely on the meadow, forming a scene of its own. We circled through the winding mountain roads on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, over layers of mountains and white clouds, and arrived at Daocheng at midnight.
The yaks and sheep dotted all over the mountains light up the plateau scenery and have been with grassland herdsmen for generations.
Daocheng Yading, magnificent and sacred snow-capped mountains, vast meadows, colorful forests and clear blue lakes, almost all the most beautiful things in the snow-covered plateau gather here. This place is known as "the last Shangri-La on the blue planet" ", dark green mountains lined with snow-capped peaks, beautiful water embellished with flowers, and only by walking into her mysterious hinterland can a graceful journey begin.
The autumn colors here are unparalleled, and the colors of the rainy days in July are rich and full, with blooming flowers, flying waterfalls, clear water and long sky, and the green mountains and floating clouds are all enchanting.
Aden has gathered a large number of tourists and photography enthusiasts all year round. From the tourist center, take a scenic tourist bus and walk through the mountains for an hour to arrive at the Aden scenic spot. If you want to save time and effort to reach Pearl Sea, Five Color Sea, Milk Sea, Luorong Niuchang, and Yading Mountain, it is recommended to spend 50 yuan to take a sightseeing car in the scenic area to travel from the inside out. Due to the rush of time and the rainy sky this time, we did not reach the core of the scenic spot and missed the true face of the three snow peaks Shanuoduoji, Yangmaiyong and Xiannairi.
Have you ever seen someone wearing a padded jacket in July? In Aden, you really have to wear a padded jacket!
Daocheng at nine o'clock in the evening after the rain, splashing dreamy blue. And the homestay in Daocheng is also very distinctive, "a long time ago inn", have you stayed in a long time ago?
DAY 5: Batang, Zhubalong, Sisters Sea, Haizi Mountain (287 kilometers per day)
The wind brings this fragrance of flowers from the mouth of heaven. I cling to the lush Maoya grassland below me, stretching my body and mind infinitely. Stretch out your hand, as if you can touch the dreamlike sky above your head. Sister Sea, just when I was intoxicated, I spread a colorful picture scroll to my eyes.
Visiting the Sisters Lake in person, the breeze is blowing on the face, and the waves are shimmering.
The vehicle continued westward in the Grand Canyon, with majestic boulders standing on both sides of the river, and the river rushing forward happily.
After crossing the Jinsha River Bridge, we bid farewell to Sichuan and officially entered the territory of Tibet---Chamdo.
This is Nujiang 72 Turns, which is popular all over the Internet. The strong man said: When you have money, you must straighten it!
DAY 6: Zuogong, Bangda, Dongda Mountain (360 kilometers per day)
After many consecutive days of wind and rain, the high-defense finally swallowed me up this morning. I went on the road with a headache and tinnitus. I passed the Lancang River Grand Canyon all the way to Jueba Mountain at 3911 meters. I saw too many hikers and cyclists along the way. Step by step approaching Lhasa, S318 all the way gravel fell and roadbed collapsed, and it took half a day or a day for the car to cross the mountains and mountains. I can't imagine how much faith, courage, physical fitness and perseverance they need to reach their destination; along the mountainside When I met a rickety old man pushing a simple wooden frame cart to slowly pick up garbage, the feelings accumulated in my heart could not help crying. We go to Tibet to relieve a feeling. When we take away the beautiful scenery, should we also leave a piece of purity?
The rainy days that lasted for many days finally ended after entering Tibet. After climbing the 5,130-meter Dongda Mountain, the weather was clear, and when I looked up, there was a piece of Tibetan blue.
We can meet cycling teams at any time along the way, and the spirit of explorers undoubtedly gave us great encouragement and touch!
DAY 7: Basu, Bomi, Ranwu Lake, Midui Glacier (400 kilometers per day, Midui adult ticket: 50 yuan)
Good morning, Basu! After a night's rest in the Tibetan Abala Hotel, the symptoms of hyperactivity were relieved. I have eaten local Tibetan noodles + sweet tea in the hotel, and experienced the feeling of being at home throughout the process. The two brothers and sisters in the hotel lost their parents and their mothers depended on each other. The younger sister is studying at a university in Lanzhou, and the older brother works in a hotel with a meager income but adopts three orphans. They are positive and optimistic in their conversations. They never complain that life is not easy, but are very grateful for everything they have ! Going deep into the brothers and sisters' homes, the younger sister enthusiastically cleaned the clothes we had accumulated for several days and gave us highland barley wine as a gift, which moved us very much. If you take the Sichuan-Tibet route and stay overnight in Basu, please choose Abala Hotel!
Say goodbye to brothers and sisters, say goodbye to Basu, let's move on and start a new and unknown journey!
Under the blue sky and white clouds, Laigu Glacier is silent, standing still, holy and peaceful; Ranwu Lake, accompanied by Yufeng, winds and flows, extending to the distance...
On the Midui River in the lower reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River, there is a glacier at an altitude of 6,800 meters. It is as clean as jade, with beautiful scenery, different shapes and intoxicating beauty. The glacier is covered with white snow all year round, and the lush forest is evergreen all year round. It is covered with a silver handkerchief and a green skirt. This is Midui Glacier, one of the three major ocean glaciers in China and one of the six most beautiful glaciers in China.
From Sichuan to Tibet, we have seen too many snow-capped mountains and glaciers along the way. Midui Glacier is the clearest and most spectacular glacier we have seen up close!
Ice Dancing Silver Snake, Mysterious Rice Pile ------
DAY 8: Bomi and Tongmai, because of the landslide on the Tongmai section of S318, there was a traffic jam for a day. I wrote down my feelings for the day during the traffic jam. The good and the bad, the hardships and the joys, are all unforgettable and precious experiences in the journey.
July 15th, a day of lost contact.
Departing from Bomi to Tongmai at 8:30 in the morning, the mileage is 84KM. The road conditions along the way are good. We are still secretly happy about the smooth travel. Less than 20KM out of Bomi, the vehicles ahead are congested. As shown in the red section of the navigation, it has been raining and landslides in Tongmai for many days, and the traffic has been controlled for several days. Sorrow clouds hang over our heads, and we are all heading west, but this is Tibet, and we have to trek through mountains and rivers with deep ravines and ravines. In front of us, like all vehicles, we are stopping and watching all the way. But I don't want this block to be a whole day and night.
I have to say that this is another strange and unforgettable experience in my life journey. On the winding winding mountain road, thousands of vehicles entering Tibet from all over the world are like a long dragon hovering on the road, without seeing the front and the rear. I stopped and went all the way during the day, but only traveled a distance of 40KM. When the time came in the evening, when the vehicles stopped moving and the traffic police shouted all the way to persuade them to rest on the spot, various pictures appeared in front of my eyes: sitting on the ground playing cards, cooking on fire Those who cook, those who set up tables with chairs and play chess... The communication signal in the mountains is intermittent, there is no phone harassment, and it is impossible to refresh the circle of friends. Quiet surrounds everyone. In such an environment, we picked up a mobile phone along the way, and after all our efforts, we finally contacted the owner. Seeing the other party ecstatic, we were much happier.
The road vehicles are like a long queue, and garbage can be seen everywhere. In the wild where there are no trash cans, many people lose their restraint, and all kinds of waste are thrown away, and the more they accumulate, the more they accumulate, which is shocking. But there are also people with a strong sense of self-discipline, picking up and bagging the garbage around them along the way. What we can do is to keep the journey clean without throwing a piece of paper.
The five of us spent a short and special night in this deep mountain like all the people who went to Lhasa. Without the Internet, we looked up at the stars above our heads and chatted about life. Without a soft bed and hot water, we were in a daze in the car until dawn. No traffic jams, we have always looked at all this optimistically: we are not stuck in landslides; the temperature is comfortable and there is no rain; there is water and food in the car; the mobile phone lost contact and experienced a simple day without phone calls and information bombardment...
This is Tibet. Surrounded by mountains, the land is vast and sparsely populated. Unlike any city with well-developed transportation in the Mainland, the expressway does not allow access to national highways, provincial highways, or rural trails. Choose Sichuan-Tibet Line S318. If you want to change lanes halfway, it will be a long way. So the mystery of Tibet lies in her difficult and dangerous journey. There is no shortcut to travel all the way. If you want to get there, you have to adjust your mentality and be prepared to face all emergencies. It is precisely because of this that it attracts countless people to come here to feel the exotic customs and temper their minds. The beauty of Tibet is not only the snow-covered plateau, the blue sky and beautiful water, the leisurely cattle and sheep, but also the high resistance all the way and all kinds of hard work. Only by digesting and enjoying the scenery of the four seasons along the way, and challenging and sharpening, will you gain a deeper and broader life journey.
This is Tibet. In the early morning of July 16th, we were still on the road, and the unknown road ahead was still blocked. I recorded the mental journey of the past day.
------ 7.16 Manuscript on the way west
At 11 am on July 16, the vehicle finally passed slowly. This is the site of the landslide that blocked us for 24 hours. The original concrete road is no longer visible, only piles of mud and rocks, and a simple mountain road leads to the front. Don't complain about the difficult and dangerous journey, this is the road to the west that many armed police soldiers have worked hard to repair for several days. After passing through, we can go back to the hotel to take a hot bath and have a good night's sleep, but they still have to stick to the front line of emergency rescue, working around the clock to ensure that the westbound line is unimpeded. This is Tibet, this is Tongmai, the mountains are high and the roads are dangerous, and there are dangers everywhere, but here, there is never a shortage of people with perseverance, hard work and courage!
DAY 9: Lulang, Nyingchi, Bayi Town (235 kilometers per day)
In July and August in Tibet, the rain is like the temper between lovers when they bicker. Just like the Lulang town we passed by, in the light dance of the summer rain curtain, the Lulang villages are dotted with stars and scattered in order, sketching a quiet and beautiful "mountain dwelling picture". At this moment, we are in a meadow with winding streams and gurgling springs. Wooden fences, wooden houses, wooden bridges and the sea of flowers complement each other, maybe at this moment, forget your hometown!
,
Saying goodbye to the idyllic style of Lulang Town, we came to the famous Nyingchi. Nyingchi, known as Gongbu in ancient times. "Linzhi" is a transliteration of "Nichi" or "Niangchi" in Tibetan, which means "the throne of the Niang family or the throne of the sun" in Tibetan. Nyingchi has beautiful scenery, and many areas are known as "Tibet Jiangnan". The Peach Blossom Festival in Nyingchi and the colorful Nanyigou are both classic attractions.
The Peach Blossom Festival is over, and the peach blossoms have already fallen, but the small peach trees are full of love. At nine o'clock in the evening, will the blue sky of Linzhi make people have a wonderful dream?
Peach Blossoms in the Mountains and Plains (Internet Pictures)
DAY 10: Gongbujiangda, Basongcuo (540 kilometers per day, Basongcuo adult ticket: 170 yuan)
"Cuo" means lake in Tibetan.
Basongcuo is the first amazing paradise we saw after entering Tibet!
I looked up and listened to the wind on the Basongcuo Lake. The water was green like jade, and the sky was so blue that it seemed like a miracle! At this moment, the happiness I have: distance, freedom and exuberant mood!
In Cuozong Gongba Temple, I turned the prayer wheel, as if touching the history 1500 years ago!
Maybe thousands of years ago, I was the little lama who rang the bronze bell in the morning and evening, chanted scriptures and practiced, swept the dust, made offerings to the Buddha, and meditated in meditation; a thousand years later, I was by the lake where the breeze was blowing in the afternoon, letting my thoughts burst, and my emotions Boundless, then take a nap in the sun and spend an afternoon relaxing until the snow-capped mountains in front of you are lit by the setting sun.
Tibetan pigs gnawing around, do you know that there is a word in the world called "trouble"?
Departing from Chengdu, it took nine days to turn mountains and rivers all the way, and finally arrived in Lhasa in the evening! The moment we saw the road sign, we were almost choked up, and there was a kind of excitement and joy of wading through mountains and rivers to end our long-cherished wish!
After eating at the restaurant of Yueyang fellow, we checked into the courtyard-style Lazy Inn!
DAY 11: Lhasa, Yamdrok Yongcuo, Gangbala Mountain (306 kilometers per day, adult ticket for Yanghu Lake: 60 yuan. This is a half-ticket during the repair period of the scenic spot)
"The cloud cover looks at the wooden show, and the sky sees the rattan plate". The sky in Lhasa, after the morning drizzle, is vast and clear, with white clouds stretching leisurely in the arms of Qiankun. The Yarlung Zangbo River and Lhasa River, against the backdrop of the clear blue sky, the water and the sky are uniform and extremely quiet.
Departing from Lhasa, we crossed the 5,030-meter Gangbala Pass, and we visited Yamdrok Yumcuo (referred to as Yanghu Lake), which is also known as the three holy lakes in Tibet, along with Namtso and Manasarovar.
Yamdrok Yongcuo is known as the most beautiful water in the world. Standing on the plateau, no matter what angle you look at, you can’t see the whole picture of Yangzhuo. Under the sunlight at different times, Yanghu Lake will show different levels of extremely rich blue, just like a dream.
Yanghu Lake is an open scenic spot. It takes 85 kilometers by car from the ticket office of Gangbala Pass to the core scenic spot. Circling all the way up Gangbala, reaching the viewing platform on the top of the mountain at 4,700 meters, you can see the Yanghu Lake like a blue ribbon winding around the mountain, stretching as far as the eye can see. And when you go to the lake, you can enjoy the rippling and sparkling water of Yanghu Lake from zero distance.
On the mountainside, I ran into a Tibetan mastiff. At this moment, isn’t the huge and ferocious beast cute and gentle?
DAY 11: Lhasa, Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace (Jokhang Temple, Potala Palace adult package: 598 yuan, including the whole professional tour guide, the distance between the two scenic spots is not far, you can walk for 10 minutes)
Who is not a companion of ten thousand dharmas, turn back to the light and look after yourself, and tell you when you have sucked up the water of the West River in one gulp.
The wisdom of Bodhi Prajna is inherent in the world. But because of delusions, we cannot realize ourselves. Let go of greed, hatred and ignorance, break the shell of ignorance, and drain the river of troubles. When the afflictions in the heart are exhausted, all sentient beings will be exhausted, the Western Pure Land can come and go freely, and Bodhi and Nirvana can go at will.
All living beings in the world yearn for Lhasa, but do they yearn for the unique and mysterious Tibetan culture where there are temples and halls? Or is it the changing situation and the high mountains and long rivers on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau? Everyone has a lot of solutions, for seeing, for salvation, for refuge, for pursuit, for wandering, for peace of mind, for the well-being of the world...
When you arrive in Lhasa, you must come to the Jokhang Temple with a history of more than 1,300 years. Located in the center of the old city of Lhasa, this Tibetan Buddhist monastery built by the Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo has a supreme status in the hearts of Lhasa people and even the world, and is known as the "Holy Land". Every day, a large number of worshipers bow their heads at the gate of the Jokhang Temple and circle the temple to pray. Their expressions are focused and pious, and their spirit is admirable! "Faith" is like the universe, deep and boundless.
Jokhang Temple Bajiao Street turning street has become a must-do homework for Tibetans every day.
Tibetans worshiping
Living in the Potala Palace, I am the biggest king in the snowy land, living on the streets of Lhasa, I am the most beautiful lover in the world. Qing. ------ Tsangyang Gyatso
In the hearts of Lhasa people, Bu Palace is a symbol of political power and religion; in Tsangyang Gyatso's heart, Bu Palace is a good place for him to express his feelings directly after enjoying the joyful secular life. I don't know, more than 300 years ago, whether this young man who had just opened his heart often looked at the distance along the city wall, thinking of his Dawa Dolma; Spread, and gradually turn into a thousand lines of poems written by the pen. Although this talented, romantic and unrestrained young man eventually became a victim of the power struggle in the short 20-odd years of his life journey, his life experience is complicated and confusing, but his love poems and his depressing life and death are all the most beautiful in Lhasa. One of the scenery. When the king of the snowy land was lost in the past, from then on, the sixth generation was gone, only the back of the most beautiful lover in the streets of Lhasa remained, drifting away...
The Buddha is in the enlightenment of the Buddha, and Tsangyang Gyatso is walking in his dream. He is a legend that fascinates all living beings for three hundred years. He is a beam of light that illuminates Tibet. Three hundred years later, he is still alive. He is the most beautiful lover on the streets of Lhasa!
But today, I came all the way from mountains and rivers not to see him, but to follow his footsteps and follow the direction his eyes looked at, so that the sacred mountains and holy waters in my eyes turned into a beautiful figure, and I walked slowly; I shook the prayer wheel Shen Sifan's singing is not for exaltation, but only for touching his fingertips that flow down the feeling but become a masterpiece handed down from generation to generation. Wandering the streets of Lhasa, letting life wander like clouds, I just want to feel the sanctity and solemnity of this pure land in the Western Regions; standing by the wall of the Potala Palace, my heart's desire, wandering feelings, and belief in worship have all been fully realized. nice note.
The White House and Red Palace in the Cloth Palace are solemn and magnificent.
In the drizzle and twilight, the Cloth Palace is majestic and mysterious.
In Tibet, there has never been a lack of true feelings and touches. On the streets of Lhasa, I ran into Brother Hongji Sanlun again. He was filial to the world, and a tricycle brought his white-haired parents into Tibet!
DAY 13: Lhasa, Yangbajing, Damxung, Namtso, Nagqu (470 kilometers per day, Namtso adult ticket: 120 yuan, insurance 10 yuan)
Departing from Lhasa along the G109 Qinghai-Tibet line all the way north through Yangbajing to Damxung, our wheels did not stop all the way. After a break in the middle, a natural masterpiece of landscape was spread in front of us.
You ask where am I going? I pointed in the direction of Namco.
If Basongcuo is the deep and expressive eye of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, and Yamdrok Yongcuo is the blue ribbon winding around the mountainside beyond the horizon, then Namtso is the heart of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, vast and mysterious.
Here, there are grasslands with herds of cattle and sheep, there are snow peaks surrounding the grasslands, there is a clear and transparent sky, there are white clouds that touch the ground, there is a strange scene where half of the black clouds wrap the mountainside, half of the sun enters the center of the lake, and, Return all the pages of poetry to the travelers on the Wandering Road.
The 80-kilometer road under construction from the outer edge to the scenic spot is very bad. The road is bumpy and bumpy. It is a test of driving skills. I saw a few cars breaking down on the road but could do nothing. I once again lamented that the more beautiful the scenery, the more difficult it is. Fortunately, we have Xiao Li The master escorted us all the way, let us enjoy the beautiful scenery.
DAY 14: Amdo, Yanshiping, Tuotuo River, Wudaoliang, Golmud (919 kilometers per day)
Depart from Nagqu early in the morning and go to Golmud along the G109 Qinghai-Tibet line. All the way over the 5231-meter Tanggula Pass. Although the S318 Sichuan-Tibet line has some dangerous roads, the overall road condition is good. The G109 road surface is uneven and the foundation is severely subsided. There are more large trucks than the roadside yaks, and there is a traffic jam of more than ten kilometers after leaving Yanshiping. Fortunately, the big brother of the team Witty, as the car in front of us crossed the grassland and successfully drove out of the blocking point, it added another exciting cross-country trip to the grassland to our itinerary. After crossing the Tanggula Pass, you enter the boundary of Qinghai.
On the Qinghai-Tibet line, there are such large trailers all the way. When going out, safety comes first. The driver's skills are very important, and the tourist's mentality is equally important. When encountering traffic jams, obey the rules and laws, do not occupy the road to overtake, and do not go against the road, maintain an optimistic and open-minded attitude, and do not get stuck in traffic jams.
On July 22, Golmud was sunny and the temperature was 22°.
From Tibet to Qinghai, we finally arrived in Golmud after many consecutive days of low temperature. When we woke up in the morning, the sun was just right and the breeze was not dry.
The temperature in my hometown is approaching 40°, and the circle of friends is scorching hot every day. We spent a few unforgettable days in Tibet wearing cotton jackets during the dog days.
Yesterday was the hardest day. I officially walked back from the Qinghai-Tibet line. I imagined that it would be as comfortable and relaxing as last year’s Qingan-Gansu Great Ring Road. The fact is that the road is uneven, full of potholes, and large trucks are like a long stream. The 800-kilometer The journey took 18 hours. Departing at 7:30 in the morning, we traveled all the way across mountains and ridges. After passing the 5231-meter snow-capped Tanggula Pass, we gradually left the border of Tibet and entered the Qinghai area. Just after passing Yanshiping, there was a serious traffic jam ahead, estimated to be tens of kilometers long. We aimed at a small path on the grassland next to the G109 National Highway. The master tried to cross it with bumps all the way, but he passed it successfully! A group of people cheered, not only for this unique grassland to stimulate cross-country, but also for our wit and luck. When we passed by vehicles that were stalled, we deeply felt that the god of luck has always been around us. Continue to cross the Tuotuo River to reach Wudaoliang, which is also the section of the Qinghai-Tibet line that we are most worried about. A few days ago, the torrential rain in Qinghai washed away the road here and banned traffic for several days. When we passed by, it was successfully repaired and we could pass slowly. I finally breathed a sigh of relief.
It was still light at 8 o'clock in the evening, but it was raining heavily. At this time, we were still 270 kilometers away from our destination of the day, Golmud. It would take more than 2 hours to run 270 kilometers at high speed in the mainland, but here is the Qinghai-Tibet line, and it will take more than 5 hours to run at the speed limit. Driving during the day, there were many accidents, and the car overturned on the side of the road was shocking. After discussing the itinerary and analyzing the safety, we followed the advice of the master and drove overnight. Fortunately, the distance from Wudaoliang to Golmud was much shorter than that during the day. It was flat, we ran all the way in the rain and arrived at Golmud safely at 2 o'clock in the morning, stayed overnight and slept soundly until dawn after washing.
Waking up at 8:30 in the morning, the blue sky outside the window was clear and the sun was shining brightly. We finished our breakfast easily and were excited and happy for the correct decision last night and the ups and downs of this trip. Today’s destination is Chaka Salt Lake Swim, goodbye last year's beauty.

Tuotuo River ------
The Wudaoliang section under repair ------
After the rain, Golmud is sunny and the sky is blue.
DAY 15: Dulan, Chaka Salt Lake (480 kilometers per day, Chaka Salt Lake adult ticket: 70 yuan)
The scorching sun above the head strides across the salt marshes, one shallow and one deep. Interestingly, at the salt-white place in the middle of the lake, the reflection happens to be the sky mirror.
I have imagined thousands of times, going deep into your arms, and reaching out to touch the sky; I also expected to bow my head and smile with low eyebrows, and the mirror would give me a happy smile. I waited for a season of yellow leaves falling and autumn gradually cooling, waiting for a season of green flowers flying in the forest and flowers falling in the middle of the water, that mirror is still with me in my dream, forever and boundless. The sky is blue, gradually losing its color, waiting for me to light it up.
-------This is July 19, 2017, when I first saw Chaka Salt Lake.
See Chaka Salt Lake in early 2017. The waves are calm and flat like a mirror, and I see the beautiful girl in the mirror.
A year later, I walked into the center of your lake again, with an hourly temperature of 12°, light rain, blue sky, tired and white clouds traveling far away, cool wind blowing into my arms, and the lake surface was gray, which made me feel the different tea card in the rain.
The mood is as gentle as jade. The most beautiful is not the rainy day, but I am in the middle of your lake.
This place that once allowed me to touch the sky has now sunk into the bottom of my heart, and I will cherish it in this life.
DAY16: Chaka Town, Qinghai Lake, Xining (296 kilometers per day)
It was also last year that I visited the most beautiful Qinghai Lake in my best years. The long-cherished wish that I have kept in my heart for many years received the best comfort and comfort.
Today, I revisit the old place, the most beautiful Qinghai Lake, gave me the most beautiful water and sky, clear waves and white clouds.
The Qinghai Lake I like is far-reaching and boundless, with rippling blue waves and lingering sky, clouds and shadows.
The sunrise of the Black Horse River once amazed my eyes when I first woke up in the morning dream, and the mystery of Qinghai Lake was intoxicated in my obsessed and amazed heart.
The beauty of Qinghai Lake is the sunrise on the Heima River, the blue waves that are shining for thousands of miles, the rapeseed flowers in full bloom, the Tibetan girl with a peach blossom face, and you and I who are here in person!
The river and the sky are all the same color without any dust, and the moon is alone in the bright sky.
The Qinghai Lake I love, the flowers are wild, the sun caresses my shoulders, the waves pat my soul, gently comforting my love that has nowhere to rest,
Four seasons go by, you always lengthen my eyes.
Flying flowers have their own place of love, and they don't fall to the branches. The blooming of poppies is like a feast of flowers.
Every July and August, the rape blossoms by the lake are golden and splendid, forming a scene of its own.
Lavender, the feeling of purple, adorns the blue dream of Qinghai Lake.
return trip:
Xining Mojia Street, a famous local specialty pedestrian street. On the way home, matsutake, highland barley wine, yak meat, saffron, black wolfberry... The children who leave home always have to take one or two in return to their parents and thank their friends and colleagues.
The end ------
Xining Caojiabao Airport, say goodbye to our professional and excellent travel companion Mr. Li, who packed up the half-month difficult, exciting, pleasant and unforgettable Sichuan-Tibet trip and boarded the plane for the return journey.
Xiangmeizi "F4" who ventured into Sichuan and Tibet and Master Li's car----
Master Li Jiaxin from Zhangye, Gansu Province, who is honest and humorous, with excellent character and driving skills -----
When China Southern Airlines flight CZ3630 left Xining for Changsha, I leaned back in my chair and fell into a dream. In the dream, prayer flags fluttered on the top of the mountain, and yak bells jingled like heartbeats. In Bugong Square, a familiar voice called me, and I looked back, but it was a shadow of nothingness, which somewhat resembled me.
And I, waking up in the world of mortals, facing the breeze of my hometown, and with the soft lights in my heart, turned the journey of the rest of my life into a road of heart, and warmed the surroundings with wisdom and compassion.
Probably, the shadow that somewhat looks like me stayed in Tibet, on the streets of Lhasa, and reunited with Tsangyang Gyatso, who walked down the lotus platform, in the most beautiful heaven and earth.
------The end!
