Xifeng Hot Spring is located in Wenquan Town, Xifeng County, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is one of the eight famous hot springs in China and one of the rare high-quality natural medical and drinking mineral water in the world. The hot spring water has been identified as "bicarbonate type radon spring containing metasilicate and strontium". All have good curative effect.
In 1945, Xifeng Hot Spring was developed by Sichuan warlord Yang Sen when he was the chairman of Guizhou Province. After that, Chiang Kai-shek also recuperated in Xifeng Hot Spring. In 1956, the Guizhou Provincial Federation of Trade Unions established a nursing home here.
The "General Building Ruins" is located in the Xifeng Hot Spring Sanatorium. It was built by the Sichuan warlord Yang Sen. He Yingqin donated 100,000 yuan when it was built. Because Yang Sen, He Yingqin and other generals were trained here, it was called He Mansion and Yang Mansion. "General Building".
Now the General Building Hotel has been built and opened to the public.
Xifeng’s delicacy is Yanglang spicy chicken. After soaking in the hot springs, drive to Yanglang Town to have a meal of spicy chicken!
