If you are traveling in Xinjiang and want to find a city to rest your feet, I recommend the oil city of Xinjiang - Karamay. I also found a new way to escape the summer heat, visiting museums! Not only can you avoid the scorching sun, but it also does not consume physical energy while replenishing spiritual food.

As an oil city, Karamay is very rich, and the city's public facilities are magnificent, beautiful, and artistic. There are many museums here. I visited 4 of them during this trip, each with its own characteristics and rewards.

The first stop of the museum tour is [Karamay (Exhibition) Museum], which is close to [Heiyoushan Park] and within walking distance. Friends who visit the park can drop by the museum to visit.

The museum has five exhibition halls: the Hall of Ancient Mysteries, the Hall of Emerging Emergence, the Hall of Hard Work, the Hall of Reform and Opening, and the Hall of Entering the New Era. Touring along the time axis seems to be reading a magnificent oil epic. Looking at the historical photos, the lifelike sculptures, and the oil production tools that were put into use in those years, it seems to have witnessed the history of Karamay from the desert to the city built on oil, which is full of emotion!

·The second stop of the museum tour is [[Karamay Zisha Museum], which is only 8-9 minutes' drive from Karamay Museum. There are a lot of works of art in the museum. The purple sand sculpture "Desert Beauty" is amazing. The face of the sculpture is exquisite and beautiful, but the sides are covered with wrinkles, which is very vicissitudes. It reminds people of the beauty of Karamay city and the desolation of desert. Strong visual impact and thought-provoking, it is one of the treasures of this museum.

In addition, more than 300 pieces of purple sand art and purple sand wares are displayed in the museum, which is the only museum in Xinjiang that uses purple sand as a carrier. Friends who are keen on collecting purple clay pots and purple clay pots can see various forms of purple clay products here, and feast their eyes!

Next to the museum is the famous [Iron Horse Square] in Karamay. There are many entertainment items in the square, and you can play leisurely. At night, the [Iron Horse Night Market] has a variety of delicacies. I just chose to visit this museum in the afternoon and go to the Iron Horse Square in the evening. , and then go shopping and eat.

The third stop of the museum tour is [Karamay Dinosaur Cultural Garden], which is next to [World Devil City]. If you finish visiting Devil City and the world, you can visit the Dinosaur Cultural Garden.

This is the only dinosaur-themed scenic spot in Xinjiang, known as "Xinjiang Jurassic Park". I have always been fascinated by prehistoric giants, and my curiosity is satisfied here. The sculptures of various stegosaurus, pterosaurs, and plesiosaurs are lifelike. The iron-cast dinosaur skeleton is very imposing. Some dinosaur sculptures are built in the forest, some are on the grass, and some are on the river bank, which is very immersive, as if they have strayed into the home of dinosaurs. Parent-child travel is strongly recommended to check in here!

The fourth stop of the museum tour is [Duku Highway Museum], which is located in Dushanzi, the starting point of the most beautiful highway in Xinjiang [Duku Highway], and is also very close to [Dushanzi Grand Canyon]. Visit the Grand Canyon or take the Duku Highway Friends who travel here can come here for a visit.

The museum shows the history of building the Duku Highway and the scenery of the Duku Highway. It is recommended that friends who are on a Duku Highway trip come here to check in first, and do a strategy by the way. There is a detailed landscape diagram in the museum, explaining the landscapes, scenic spots, and check-in points of the highway.

This trip to the museum has given me a deeper understanding of Karamay, and I feel a lot closer to the city, so that when I visit other attractions, I will have more insights and gains.
