Dashanbao is 79 kilometers away from Zhaotong City. It is a township in Zhaoyang District, Zhaotong City, Yunnan Province. It is 2215-3364 meters above sea level and has a total area of 192 square kilometers. It is a typical subtropical plateau meadow scenic spot. Dashanbao is a national nature reserve and one of the internationally important protected wetlands. In recent years, the number of domestic and foreign visitors to Dashanbao for tourism, scientific research, exploration and sightseeing has gradually increased, and its popularity has been continuously improved.
Dashanbao, every year at the end of October, a large number of black-necked cranes migrate here from the remote Qinghai-Tibet Plateau to spend the winter, and leave in early April of the next year. The black-necked crane is the only crane species that lives on the plateau in the world. In order to better protect this rare animal, the Dashanbao National Black-necked Crane Nature Reserve was established in 2003. Since then, Dashanbao has become a black-necked crane. paradise.

【About the itinerary】
D1: Take the (Yibin-Zhaotong) train at 3:00 p.m. on December 31, and arrive at about 9:00 p.m., then contact Dashan chartered car god Chen Ge and others to go straight to the top of Dashanbao Mountain, and arrive after 12:00 p.m. (this is the first time traveling New Year's Eve on the plateau), wash and rest.
About the first morning on the plateau

Cars are generally only allowed to go to Xinjie Town, and Dashanbao Town above.
