In fact, the charm of Jietou is not limited to the sea of ​​rapeseed flowers. There are still many places worthy of in-depth check-in, but the distance is relatively long, and it is not convenient to charter a car or transfer to it, so self-driving is a good choice. The route from Tengchong to Jietou is full of beautiful scenery. Ten-mile lotus, Beihai Wetland, Qihua Ridge, Longchuan River rafting... are all travel destinations that cannot be missed. Our itinerary this time is mainly in Jietou, so we went straight from the city to Jietou to see flowers. However, if these scenic spots along the way catch up with the season, they must be arranged in the itinerary and spend two more days to explore the beauty of this route in depth.

First stop: Watching the most beautiful flower sea sunrise

A group of us drove from the city at 6:00 in the morning, and it took about an hour to arrive at Jietou. We wanted to see the sunrise in the sea of ​​flowers, but the weather conditions were not so good that day, and we did not see the dreamlike sunrise in the sea of ​​flowers that we imagined. It's a pity that it's out, but March is when the rape blossoms are in full bloom, and you can take a satisfactory photo with just a casual photo.

In the morning, with the soft light, the sea of ​​rapeseed flowers has a hazy artistic conception.

Second stop: revealing the interesting and delicious "stink oil lamp stewed chicken"

There is a famous dish in Jietou: stewed chicken with stinky oil lamp. For this dish, the editor has been thinking about it for a long time, but I haven't eaten it. I can't let go of the opportunity this time. I heard that this dish needs to be stewed for a long time, so we just passed by after watching the sea of ​​rapeseed flowers. The house we went to make stinky oil lamp stewed chicken is located in the sea of ​​flowers.

We waited in the farmhouse for nearly three hours, and it was not boring during the period. The flowers and plants in his home passed a lot of time for us.

Finally, the stewed chicken is ready to eat. The taste is really different from ordinary stewed chicken. It does not have the expected bitterness, but it has a little more fragrance. The farm chicken is processed in a special way to make it more fragrant, tender and smooth.

The third stop: Exploring Gaoligong's "Jiexiang Family"

The Gaoligong Handmade Paper Museum is located in the fields beside Xinzhuang Village, Gaoligong Mountain, Tengchong. It was designed by the famous architect Hua Li. The design elements combine the traditional wooden structure system with modern construction methods, all of which are completed by local craftsmen. This is a village with a long history and tradition of handmade paper.

This ancient method of papermaking is called "handmade paper" by local people. It uses natural bark and is manufactured through processes such as pounding, copying, and drying. It has well inherited Cai Lun's papermaking technology in the Eastern Han Dynasty. Today in Xinzhuang Village, handmade paper is still a part of life here.

Jietou's handwritten paper is simple in texture, suitable for calligraphy and painting, and has strong flexibility. It has the reputation of "immortality for a thousand years". The production and use of handwritten paper has formed a traditional cultural industry here.

The fourth stop: go all the way north to Datang, soak in authentic hot springs

Continue to go north along the streets of Jietou Town, looking up, the rapeseed flowers are fragrant all the way, and the beautiful Gaoligong Mountain is to the east. There are scenery all the way, and it feels like driving in spring.

Datang Hot Spring is just beside Tenglu Road, deep in the hinterland of Gaoligong Mountain. There are rich geothermal resources here. There are two hot spring groups, one at Jiezitou and one at Jiezijiao. There are 6 hot spring development sites in total, namely: Street The Datang Natural Hot Springs in Zijiao, Datang Hot Springs, Winery Hot Springs and Jiezitou Hot Field Hot Springs, Fu Hot Springs, and Laonianfang Hot Springs.

We went to Datang Hot Spring this time, and we were amazed by the clearness of the hot spring water here. Datang hot springs are rich in minerals, which have a certain therapeutic effect on rheumatism and other diseases, and can also have the effect of beauty and whitening.

The vast field ridges are connected to the mountains, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the river reflects the mountain village to form a wonderful scenery. Soaking in hot springs here is full of tenderness and comfort.

Spent a pleasant afternoon at Datang Hot Spring. When we left, the boss told us that there is a hot field wonder 1 km away, so we couldn't wait to see it, and continued north...

Within a few minutes, we arrived at Hot Field Hot Spring. When I visited Atami Scenic Area, I once sighed: If I have such a hot spring at home, how happy it would be? The hot spring water in Retian Hot Spring is really "in the field"! It is not over-developed, it is a public washing place, or leads to the hot spring bathing place, or washes vegetables and rice...

Relying on mountains, eating mountains, relying on water, drinking water! Hot springs have become an indispensable part of the life of the locals in this small village. This is a small mountain village that has been softened by hot springs.

After playing with the water in Retian Hot Spring, we walked back. The sun set and dyed the sky red. How can we miss this great beauty of heaven and earth! So we went to the viewing platform on the rooftop and stopped to enjoy the sunset, marking a perfect end to this trip to Jietou.
