Caohu Lake is located at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain and the northern edge of Tarim Basin, 90 kilometers away from Luntai County. "Sunset clouds and lone ducks fly together, the autumn water is the same color as the sky" is presented in the thousands of miles of yellow sand. There are relatively well-preserved Populus euphratica forests in the Tarim River Basin, as well as isolated ancient villages. There are simple and honest Luobu people living in Caohu Water Village.
