Changqing Nature Reserve is located in the northern part of Yangxian County, Hanzhong City, on the south slope of the middle section of Qinling Mountains. There are more than 30 kinds of wild animals under special protection, including the precious "four national treasures" - giant panda, golden monkey, takin and crested ibis. At present, three scenic spots of Yangjiagou, Cang'er Rock and Shanwang Temple have been opened in the reserve. The forest is densely covered in the reserve, which is a natural oxygen bar and a good place to escape the heat in summer.

The reserve is far away from the urban area of Hanzhong, about 140 kilometers away. Even if you take a shuttle bus from Hanzhong to Huayang Town, you still need to spend hundreds of yuan to charter a car to reach the reserve. The tourists who come here are mainly field photographers or animal and plant lovers, and there are not many ordinary tourists. There are off-road vehicles for tourists in the reserve, which is convenient for tourists to play in the reserve, and the cost is about 200-300 yuan per day.

When tourists come here, they can see the crested ibis flying near the guest house of Huayang Protection Station; in the Cang'er Cliff Scenic Area in the reserve: there are Heilongtan, Canglongtan, Cang'er Cliff, Shanshuping, Shimen Waterfall and other natural attractions. It is even possible to see wild giant pandas, takins and other wild animals. The Boyang Scenic Area in the reserve is now an important habitat for giant pandas, and it is also possible to see wild giant pandas.

In Huayang Ancient Town next to the protected area, the ancient stone streets, ancient theater buildings, bamboo forests, small bridges, green tile houses and other buildings are very characteristic of southern Shaanxi. There is also the headquarters of the 25th Army of the Red Army. Relics of the Long March period.
