The site of Dashagou is located on the south side of Dashagoukou about 1 km south of Xingjiawan Village, Zhongbao Town, Yongdeng County, Gansu Province, and belongs to the second platform on the west bank of Zhuanglang River. About 100 meters to the north of the site is Dashagou, the west is adjacent to Yong (Deng) Yao (Street) Highway and Jiangjun Mountain, about 200 meters to the east is the site of Dashagou Goukou, and the south is farmland. A canal runs through the middle of the site, dividing the site into two parts. The cultural layer is about 1-2.5 meters deep from the surface and about 0.5 meters thick. Its range is about 500 meters from north to south and 300 meters from east to west, with a total area of ​​about 150,000 square meters.

The site is rich in relics. Remains such as ash layers and ash pits can be seen on the cliffs, and there are many relics such as pottery fragments and residual stone tools on the ground. The pottery pieces are mainly argillaceous yellow pottery with a small amount of gray pottery. Its main utensils include extravagant mouth basins, double stone axes and other utensils.
