Zhangye Bell and Drum Tower, also known as Zhenyuan Tower, commonly known as Drum Tower, is located in the center of Zhangye, where the four main streets, east, west, south, and north meet. Zhangye Drum Tower is built on a brick altar, imitating Xi'an Bell Tower, with a width of 3 rooms, a depth of 3 rooms, and a base width of 16 meters. The plane of the platform is square, the bottom of the platform is 32 meters wide, and the height is 9 meters. The base is more than 30 meters from the top of the building. The cornices are upturned and the carved beams and painted buildings are elegant and solemn, which fully embodies the architectural style of the Ming Dynasty.
