Gepai Town belongs to Lantian County, Xi'an City, Shaanxi Province. It is located at the northern foot of the Qinling Mountains and the southeast of the Guanzhong Plain. It is the southeast gateway of the ancient city of Xi'an, 45 kilometers away from Xi'an. Gepai Town is an earlier Hongming base established by the original 25th Red Army in Guanzhong, Shaanxi Province in 1935, and has a very important historical position.
