Tiger Terrace is located on the west side of Xinning Square in Xining City. It is an important site left by the Nanliang Dynasty in the Eastern Jin Dynasty when it established its capital in Xining. . Tiger Terrace was built by the third king of the Nanliang Dynasty in 402 A.D. It was made of loess, with a total of nine floors and a height of nine feet and eight feet. It was used as a military parade to review soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of soldiers in the audience showed off their force. Today's Hutai is only a desolate mound, and there are a few immovable statues of the ancients standing beside the mound. There are already tall buildings on both sides, and the Nanliang Dynasty has long since disappeared. Standing next to the ruins where ancient and modern intersect, one can feel the infinite emotion of vicissitudes.
