The Pucheng Museum is located in Hongqi Street, Pucheng County, Weinan City. It was established in 1990 on the basis of the Confucian Temple in Pucheng County. Pucheng Confucian Temple was founded in the fourth year of Tang Zhenguan (AD 630), with a history of more than 1,300 years.

The museum faces south from the north, and there are four existing courtyards. It is a large-scale ancient building complex. The main buildings include Liulongbi, Lingxingmen, Panchi, Jimen, Zunjing Pavilion, Xiangxian Temple, Minghuan Temple, East and West Side Hall, Dacheng Hall, Zhangjiu Division, Diankusi, Minglun Hall, Chongsheng Temple wait. Among them, the Six Dragon Wall was built in the forty-fourth year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1616 A.D.) and is made of glazed tiles. On the front of the wall is a picture of six dragons swimming and dancing, and on the back is a picture of six lions dancing. It is still well preserved nearly 400 years ago.

The museum is divided into the precious plaque room (inside the halberd gate), the precious cultural relic room (in the east corridor), the calligraphy and painting room of past dynasties (in the west corridor), the sculpture art room (in the north of the east corridor), and the forest of steles in Pucheng (Minglun Hall). Inside) and other exhibition rooms. There are 4,697 pieces (groups) of cultural relics in the collection, starting from the primitive society and ending in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. There are mainly inscriptions, calligraphy and painting works, ceramics, coins, jade seals, weaving and embroidery, bronze ware, jade and stone ware, bamboo and wood tooth corners, lacquer ware, etc. Among them, the pottery figurines of the heyday of Tang Dynasty are more famous.

In the Confucian Temple Museum, visitors can see the national hero Lin Zexu's regular script "Observation", the Qing Dynasty calligrapher Zhang Yaoshan's regular script "Hewan Huadi" plaque; stone axes and stone knives more than 6,000 years ago, phoenix crowns, official uniforms and galls from the Ming and Qing Dynasties Muqilin Luohan, etc.; there are also precious calligraphy and paintings such as Dong Qichang's running script "Calligraphy Insights" by the great calligrapher of the Ming Dynasty.

There is an ancient pagoda at the northern end of the Confucian Temple called the Northern Song Temple Pagoda, also known as the North Pagoda. The North Tower was built in the third year of Zhezong Shaosheng in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 1096). It is about 46 meters high. It is a hollow square brick tower with dense eaves. There are wooden stairs in the tower, and visitors can go directly to the top of the tower and overlook the beauty of Pucheng.
