Laojun Mountain is located in the sun of Huashan Mountain. According to legend, the Taishang Laojun cultivated to become an immortal here, so it got its name.
Laojun Mountain has handsome peaks, jagged rocks, green pines and vigorous trees, and blooming mountain flowers. There are many karst pillars in Laojunshan cave, with unique landscape and bright lights. Legend has it that the Taishang Laojun became an immortal in the Laojun Cave in Xunjian Town, Luonan County. It was the 23rd day of the first lunar month, and the Jade Emperor personally greeted him. Therefore, the local folks hold the Laojun Mountain Temple Fair at this time every year to express their congratulations.
In Laojun fairy cave, there are Taoist tokens such as "Shengjun couch, Siniu cypress, alchemy furnace, pagoda forest, high mountain waterfall, Tianmen, Qingniu, tofu workshop" formed by natural melting pillars. Scenic spots such as the Imperial Palace, statues of the Supreme Lord, the Jade Emperor, and the Queen Mother are carved for pilgrims to worship. It has been a place of pilgrimage for Taoist believers for thousands of years. The wonders of nature carved by the natural soluble pillars, integrated with the natural and primitive natural landforms, have become a beautiful landscape for the development of Laojunshan eco-tourism.
