Tacheng Regional Museum, also known as the Red House Museum, is a museum that reflects the history and culture of Tacheng.Comprehensive museum.The predecessor of the Red Mansion Museum was built in the second year of Xuantong in the Qing Dynasty. Its ceiling, floor, door frames and window lattices are all patterned, and the green iron sheet is the roof. It is a Russian architectural style. Because the wall facing the street is rusty red, it is called the Red Building.
The Red Mansion Museum was started in 1910 by Remazan Kanishev, a Tatar businessman from Kazan, Russia, and completed in 1914. It has a Russian architectural style. At the beginning of 2006, the prefectural committee and the administrative office decided to expand and repair the Red House on a large scale, build a two-story exhibition hall in European style, and named it Tacheng Red House Museum. It was officially opened for free on March 31, 2008. At present, the Red Mansion Museum has more than 7,000 precious cultural relics in various historical periods. In July 2008, the Tacheng Regional Museum was officially named the "Patriotic Education Base of the Autonomous Region".
