The owner of the tomb is Yusuf Hass Hajifu, a Uighur poet and scholar in the mid-11th century. The mausoleum faces south and is rectangular. The main entrance is 4.2 meters wide and 8 meters high. There is a cylindrical tower with a height of 8.7 meters on each side of the main entrance. The mausoleum is composed of tombs, gate tower and main tomb. The outside of the main tomb is square and the inside is round, covered with a dome, and there is a small tower in the middle of the top. The layout of the mausoleum is unique, magnificent, and the decoration is simple and solemn, with a strong national style.


Yusuf Hath Hajifu was born in 1019 and died around 1080. Around 1070 A.D., he wrote a long narrative poem "Fu Le Wisdom" in ancient Uighur script with a length of more than 13,000 lines. This long poem is rich in content and vivid in language, involving politics, economy, literature, history, geography, mathematics and medicine at that time.
