Wanfeng Forest is located in the south of Xingyi City. It is composed of nearly 20,000 strange peaks and emerald mountains. It is one of the three major karst landforms in southwest China. The dense and peculiar peaks and forests are magnificent and magnificent, which can be called the China Cone Karst Museum and is known as the "Wonder of the World".

The peaks of Wanfeng Forest extend from the edge of the Qipeng Plateau in Xingyi at an altitude of more than 2,000 meters and the north bank of Wanfeng Lake to the counties of Anlong and Zhenfeng, with the peaks in the northwest high and the southeast low. According to the shape of the peak forest, it can be divided into five types: Arrayed Peak Forest, Baojian Peak Forest, Qunlong Peak Forest, Arhat Peak Forest, and Diemao Peak Forest. Each type has its own characteristics, which are not only interesting independently, but also complement each other with other types of peak forests, forming a magnificent and vast karst landscape. Wanfeng Forest is divided into two parts, Dongfeng Forest and Xifeng Forest. At present, the Xifeng Forest in Xiawutun Town is mainly open for sightseeing. Chimeric mountains, green fields, meandering rivers, and quaint villages are integrated into one, forming a rare pastoral scenery of peaks and forests in the world.

Take the sightseeing battery car at the entrance of the scenic spot, and walk along the winding battery driveway in the mountains. On the right hand side, there are beautiful natural scenery composed of peak forests, fields and villages. The fields in front of you are colorful, and what is amazing is the "Bagua Field". In fact, this is a dish-shaped subsidence funnel, which was formed by the partial collapse of an underground river and the dissolution of surface water. The clever Buyi people adapted to local conditions and built circles of fields around the funnel. Looking down from a height, it looks like a multicolored funnel. The gossip is very spectacular.

The peaks and forests in the distance are in various poses. With the explanation of the tour guide, you can imagine them as a unique shape. Every other section of the road, they will stop to take pictures for tourists, and different locations can give different feelings. After driving to the southern end, turn around and head north. At this time, visitors can be in Buyi Village at the foot of the peak forest. There are several Buyi villages such as Nahui, Leli and Yulong, all of which have their own characteristics. At present, the development of Wanfenglin is still shallow, and there will be basically no overcrowded scenes, so there is no need to worry about coming here even during the Golden Week holiday. The climate in Xingyi is relatively warm, so it is suitable to visit Wanfeng Forest all year round. Whether it is sunny or rainy, each has its own advantages.
