The library of Yili Teachers College is located in Yili, Xinjiang. Its predecessor was the library of Xinjiang Provincial Yili College built in 1948. In 1986, the library building with an area of 4,200 square meters was completed and put into use. In November 2003, the original Yili College of Education was merged into Yili Teachers College, and the library also followed the merger of the college to form a unified library of Yili Teachers College. At present, the library has 2 independent buildings with a total construction area of 12665.57 square meters, and the Kuitun campus library is 3600 square meters.
