Yindu Water Town, formerly known as Shizhaizi, is located in Xinhua Village, Caohai Town, Heqing County, Dali Prefecture. It is composed of seven typical Bai villages. As early as the Tang Dynasty, craftsmen in Xinhua Village began to process gold, silver, copper and other handicrafts, which has been passed down from generation to generation and continues to this day. The current Yindu Water Town has become a very famous tourist area in Dali Prefecture because of its long-standing handicraft culture and tranquil pastoral scenery.
The integrated Yindu Water Town consists of "Xinhua International Ecological Park", "Shizhaizi Handicraft Exhibition Park", "Sanshi Street of National Hundred Arts", "Yunnan Silver Ware Museum", and "Ancient Stage", with a total area of 16 square meters kilometer. With Yindu as the highlight and water town as the feature, the scenic spot integrates sightseeing and shopping, and has become a very large ethnic handicraft processing base and tourist commodity distribution center in Southwest China.
Walking into the gate of the water town, the middle area is the National Hundred Arts Sanshi Street. Sanshi Street is dominated by traditional Bai ethnic buildings. The shops on both sides gather food and snacks, ethnic costumes and handicrafts from all over the country. There are also teahouses and bars with different decorations. The buildings are connected by corridors, and the carved beams and painted buildings are quite exquisite. There are a large number of rich and exquisite handicrafts displayed in the park. Whether it is jewelry or decorations, they are all exquisitely crafted and exquisite. If you have fancy silverware, you can buy it appropriately.
If you want to see the silverware of local craftsmen, you must not miss the "Yunnan Silverware Museum" in the scenic spot. It manages and collects more than 2,000 pieces of folk precious silverware left over from the Tang and Song Dynasties, which are divided into three major categories: ornaments, daily necessities and religious instruments. Classes are all high-quality goods. Looking at these exquisite silverware, one can imagine the development process of Shizhaizi silverware making process, and feel a lot of emotion.
After seeing a lot of exquisite handicrafts, you can also take a stroll in the village. The Xinhua International Ecological Park is surrounded by mountains and rivers.
