Yuewang Building

Yuewang Building, located on the top of Guishan Mountain in Mianyang City, Sichuan Province, was built by Emperor Taizong Li Shimin's eighth son Yue Wang Li Zhen when he was the governor of Mianzhou. It was built in the Xianqing period of Emperor Gaozong of Tang Dynasty. After restoration and reconstruction in 2001, it is 99 meters high. It is said that "the Yuewang Tower is domineering, the Yellow Crane Tower is magnificent, the Tengwang Pavilion is talented, and the Yueyang Tower is elegant".

Yuewang Tower is the famous building with the most abundant collection of poems and essays in the world. It has collected as many as 154 poems inscribed by great poets of the past dynasties, including Li Bai, Du Fu, Wang Bo, Lu You, etc. Although Magpie Tower is famous for its poems and essays, there are not many), which can be described as "a Yuewang Tower, half of the history of Chinese literature"; the authors of poems and essays are of the highest grade, except for Li Bai, the poet, and Du Fu, the saint of poetry, almost covering the famous poets after the Tang Dynasty The master can be regarded as "the first floor of poetry and prose in the world".

The Yuewang Building in the Tang Dynasty was ten feet high (that is, a hundred feet). Calculated according to the fact that one foot in the Tang Dynasty was about 29.4 centimeters, its height is 29.4 meters.After modern reconstruction, the Yuewang main building has 15 floors inside and outside. The bottom surface is 66 meters wide from east to west, 88 meters long from north to south, and 99 meters high. Pavilions, pavilions, pavilions, terraces, squares, shopping malls, parking lots, gardens, etc. The planned land for the project is 84 mu, with a total construction area of ​​27,700 square meters. After completion, the Yuewang Building is the most antique building in China in terms of height, shape and area.

 The re-planned and designed Yuewanglou Antique Building Group is integrated with many surrounding scenic spots. It looks at Fule (mountain) in the east, Bishui (temple) in the west, South (mountain) tower in the south, and Jiuyuan (Science City) in the north. Standing on Guishan Mountain and Fushui River, it is better than nothing to embrace Mianzhou.
