The planned area of Yushui Golden Basin Scenic Area is about 67.5 square kilometers. It is mainly composed of villages and countryside and river valley scenery, including Yushui Golden Basin, Lotus Park, Jingzhou scenery, Yanghe Mountain scenery and other scenic spots.
"Yushui Golden Basin" is the county landscape, located on the syncline axis of Pingtang, it is a typical town in the syncline valley. Affected by the Yanshanian movement fold framework, the uplift of new structures in the late syncline is weaker than that of the anticline areas on both sides. In addition, the lithology of the Middle Triassic fine clastic rocks in the core is weak, so when the river flows through the core of the syncline, The gentle slope of the hydraulic power causes the river to bend in a serpentine shape, thus forming the scenery of the county town "leaning on Longnao slope in the east, surrounded by the Pingzhou River on the south, north and west sides, and climbing the Jusheng tower on Lianhua slope to overlook it, just like a bonsai".
Lianhuapo and Jusheng Pagoda: Jusheng Pagoda stands on the top of Lianhuapo. The pagoda has eight floors, is hexagonal in shape, and is 18.8 meters high. 100 meters below the tower is the Wangcheng Pavilion, with double eaves and hipped halls, which is a good place to watch the "Golden Basin of Jade Water".
