Tulsa (/ˈtʌlsə/) is the second-largest city in the state of Oklahoma and 47th-most populous city in the United States. The population was 413,066 as of the 2020 census. It is the principal municipality of the Tulsa Metropolitan Area, a region with 1,023,988 residents. The city serves as the county seat of Tulsa County, the most densely populated county in Oklahoma, with urban development extending into Osage, Rogers, and Wagoner counties.

Tulsa was settled between 1828 and 1836 by the Lochapoka Band of Creek Native American tribe and most of Tulsa is still part of the territory of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.[a]

Historically, a robust energy sector fueled Tulsa's economy; however, today the city has diversified and leading sectors include finance, aviation, telecommunications and technology. Two institutions of higher education within the city have sports teams at the NCAA Division I level: Oral Roberts University and the University of Tulsa. As well, the University of Oklahoma has a secondary campus at the Tulsa Schusterman Center, and Oklahoma State University has a secondary campus located in downtown Tulsa. For most of the 20th century, the city held the nickname "Oil Capital of the World" and played a major role as one of the most important hubs for the American oil industry.

Pingqiao District is located in the south of Henan Province, on the bank of the Huaihe River, adjacent to Zhumadian City in the north and Nanyang City in the southwest of Henan Province in the west. Pingqiao District is not only the central city of Xinyang City, but also the emerging urban area of Xinyang City. With a long history and a gathering of humanities, Pingqiao is the birthplace of "Huaishang Civilization" and "Ancient Chu Culture". The Chengyang City ruins Museum is the first county-level Chu culture theme museum in the country, and it has become an important window to display Xinyang's rich historical and cultural heritage. At the "County Economic Development Forum and Municipal Party Secretary's words Development Forum" held in the Great Hall of the people in 2009, Pingqiao District was rated as the "Top Ten cities with the most Investment potential for County economy in New China in the past 60 years". Under the jurisdiction of satellite cities, state-level small towns pilot Minggang Town (now with an area of 26 square kilometers) and other township streets. Xinyang Minggang Airport (Xinyang Minggang Airport; IATA: XAI, ICAO: ZHXY), is located at the junction of Pingqiao District, Xinyang City, Henan Province, China and Queshan County, Zhumadian City, 45 kilometers away from the central city of Xinyang and 48 kilometers away from the central city of Zhumadian It is a 4C-level military-civilian airport.   
Xinyang Minggang Airport was built in November 1958.   On September 30, 2011, it was approved for military and civilian use. On November 11, 2015, the civil aviation part started construction, and on October 28, 2018, the civil aviation part was completed and put into use.  
As of October 2018, Xinyang Minggang Airport has a terminal building with an area of ​​3,000 square meters; a runway with a length of 2,700 meters; and 5 apron stands.   As of August 2021, Xinyang Minggang Airport has 18 waypoints and 17 navigable cities.  
In 2020, the passenger throughput of Xinyang Minggang Airport was 732,400, a year-on-year increase of 0.5%; 9,231 takeoffs and landings were completed, a year-on-year increase of 7.1%.
