Dallas (/ˈdæləs/) is the third largest city in Texas and the largest city in the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex, the fourth-largest metropolitan area in the United States at 7.5 million people. It is the largest city in and seat of Dallas County with portions extending into Collin, Denton, Kaufman and Rockwall counties. With a 2020 census population of 1,304,379, it is the ninth most-populous city in the U.S. and the third-largest in Texas after Houston and San Antonio. The cities of Dallas and nearby Fort Worth were initially developed due to the construction of major railroad lines through the area allowing access to cotton, cattle and later oil in North and East Texas. The construction of the Interstate Highway System reinforced Dallas's prominence as a transportation hub, with four major interstate highways converging in the city and a fifth interstate loop around it. Dallas then developed as a strong industrial and financial center and a major inland port, due to the convergence of major railroad lines, interstate highways and the construction of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, one of the largest and busiest airports in the world. Dominant sectors of its diverse economy include defense, financial services, information technology, telecommunications, and transportation. The Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex hosts 23 Fortune 500 companies, the second most in Texas and fourth most in the United States, and 11 of those companies are located within Dallas city limits. Over 41 colleges and universities are located within its metropolitan area, which is the most of any metropolitan area in Texas. The city has a population from a myriad of ethnic and religious backgrounds and one of the largest LGBT communities in the U.S. WalletHub named Dallas the fifth most diverse city in the United States in 2018.

Shenyang, referred to as "Shen", also known as Shengjing and Fengtian, is the capital of Liaoning Province, the vice-provincial city and the core city of Shenyang metropolitan area. It is an important central city and advanced equipment manufacturing base in Northeast China approved by the State Council. By 2018, the city had jurisdiction over 10 districts, 2 counties and 1 county-level city, with a total area of 13000 square kilometers, a resident population of 8.316 million, an urban population of 6.736 million, and an urbanization rate of 81%. It is the only mega-city in northeast China. Shenyang is located in northeast China, central Liaoning, the center of the Northeast Asian economic circle and the Bohai Economic Circle, the geographical center of Northeast Asia, the headquarters of the theater headquarters in northern China, and the Shenyang Joint Logistics support Center.

Shenyang Taoxian International Airport (Shenyang Taoxian International Airport, IATA: SHE, ICAO: ZYTX), located in Taoxian Street in the southern suburbs of Shenyang City, Liaoning Province, China, 20 kilometers away from the center of Shenyang. It is a 4E-level civil international airport, It is a first-class trunk airport in China and one of the eight major regional hub airports in China , an air transport hub in Northeast China.

On April 16, 1989, Shenyang Taoxian Airport was officially opened for navigation; on June 16, 1990, Shenyang Taoxian Airport was formally established; on November 28, 1994, Shenyang Taoxian Airport was renamed Shenyang Taoxian International Airport; 2003 On September 16, 2010, Shenyang Taoxian International Airport Co., Ltd. was formally established.

As of the end of 2016, Shenyang Taoxian International Airport has one terminal in use, which is the T3 terminal building, with a construction area of 248,000 square meters, a runway length of 3,200 meters, and 47 parking spaces.
