Virginia Beach is an independent city located on the southeastern coast of the Commonwealth of Virginia in the United States. The population was 459,470 at the 2020 census. Although mostly suburban in character, it is the most populous city in Virginia, fifth-most populous city in the Mid-Atlantic, ninth-most populous city in the Southeast and the 42nd-most populous city in the U.S. Located on the Atlantic Ocean at the mouth of the Chesapeake Bay, Virginia Beach is the largest city in the Hampton Roads metropolitan area. This area, known as "America's First Region", also includes the independent cities of Chesapeake, Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Suffolk, as well as other smaller cities, counties, and towns of Hampton Roads.

Virginia Beach is a resort city with miles of beaches and hundreds of hotels, motels, and restaurants along its oceanfront. Every year the city hosts the East Coast Surfing Championships as well as the North American Sand Soccer Championship, a beach soccer tournament. It is also home to several state parks, several long-protected beach areas, military bases, a number of large corporations, Virginia Wesleyan University and Regent University, the international headquarters and site of the television broadcast studios for Christian Broadcasting Network (CBN), Edgar Cayce's Association for Research and Enlightenment, and numerous historic sites. Near the point where the Chesapeake Bay and the Atlantic Ocean meet, Cape Henry was the site of the first landing of the English colonists, who eventually settled in Jamestown, on April 26, 1607.

Shuangliu District is under the jurisdiction of Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, located in the southwest outside the fourth Ring Road of Chengdu, known as Guangdu in ancient times, Guangdu County in the Western Han Dynasty, Shuangliu County changed from Sui Dynasty to Shuangliu County, named after "Shuangliu with two Rivers" in Shu Capital Fu, and changed to Shuangliu District in 2015. Longquanyi District and Jianyang City in the east, Renshou County and Pengshan District in Meishan City in the south, Xinjin County and Chongzhou City in the west, Wenjiang District, Qingyang District, Wuhou District and Jinjiang District in the north. The district government is stationed in Dongsheng Street. Shuangliu District covers an area of 1032 square kilometers, with an actual jurisdiction area of 466 square kilometers. Chengdu High-tech Zone is entrusted with the management of 35 square kilometers.

Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport (Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport, IATA: CTU, ICAO: ZUUU), located at the junction of Shuangliu District and Wuhou District, Chengdu City, Sichuan Province, China, about 16 kilometers northeast from the center of Chengdu, is a 4F international aviation hub , one of the eight major regional hub airports in China   , an aviation hub and passenger and cargo distribution center in China's inland areas.     
The predecessor of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport is Chengdu Shuangguisi Airport, which was built in 1938. On December 12, 1956, Chengdu Shuangguisi Airport was renamed Chengdu Shuangliu Airport.   On November 30, 1995, Chengdu Shuangliu Airport was approved to change its name to Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport. On August 9, 2012, Terminal 2 of Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport officially opened.

There are 3 air cargo terminals and 2 parallel runways. , there are 3 aircraft parking areas with a total area of ​​9.4127 million square meters; a total of 228 parking spaces (as of January 2020)   ; 270 air routes have been opened, connecting 209 cities at home and abroad.  
In 2019, Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport handled a total of 55,858,552 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 5.5%, ranking fourth in the country; cargo and mail throughput was 671,903.9 tons, a year-on-year increase of 1.0%, ranking sixth in the country; aircraft movements were 366,887 Flights, a year-on-year increase of 4.2%, ranking fifth in the country   .
