Boston (US: /ˈbɔːstən/), officially the City of Boston, is the state capital and most populous city of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, as well as the cultural and financial center of the New England region of the United States. Boston is one of the oldest municipalities in America, founded on the Shawmut Peninsula in 1630 by Puritan settlers from the English town of the same name. It was the scene of several key events of the American Revolution and the nation's founding, such as the Boston Massacre, the Boston Tea Party, the Battle of Bunker Hill, and the siege of Boston. Upon American independence from Great Britain, the city continued to be an important port and manufacturing hub as well as a center for education and culture. Qingzhen City is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Guiyang City, which is located in the middle of Guizhou Province, between longitude 106 °07 / 106 °32 east and latitude 26 °25 / 26 56 'north. In 1992, it was approved by the State Council to withdraw counties and cities, and in 1996 it was placed under the jurisdiction of Guiyang City. In 1999, it was listed as one of the 20 economically strong counties (cities and districts) built in Guizhou Province by the provincial party committee and provincial government. Hongfeng Lake, a famous 4A scenic spot, is located in Hongfeng Lake Community, Qingzhen City. By 2016, Qingzhen had jurisdiction over 9 townships and 5 communities, with a total population of 482000 (permanent residents for half a year or more). The total administrative area is 1492 square kilometers. In 2016, the GDP for the whole year was 28.0109 billion yuan, an increase of 13.5% over the previous year. Qingzhen City has successively won the "National double support Model City".
