Phoenix (/ˈfiːnɪks/ FEE-niks; Navajo: Hoozdo; Spanish: Fénix or Fínix,[citation needed] Walapai: Banyà:nyuwá) is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. state
of Arizona, with 1,608,139 residents as of 2020. It is the fifth-most populous city in the United States, and the only U.S. state capital with a population of more than one million residents.

It is the largest metropolitan area, both by population and size, of the Arizona Sun Corridor megaregion.

Pingchuan has been awarded "China Ceramic Industry transfer demonstration Base" by China Ceramic Industry Association. In 2009, Pingchuan District won the title of Advanced Zone of Scientific and technological Progress in China. In 2016, Pingchuan District achieved regional health throughout the year.
