The city's tolerance for numerous forms of adult entertainment earned it the title of "Sin City", and has made Las Vegas a popular setting for literature, films, television programs, and music videos.

Lingtai County is an escrow county of Pingliang City, Gansu Province, located in the southeast of Gansu Province, bordering Changwu, Bin County, Linyou, Qianyang and Longxian of Shaanxi Province in the southeast, and Chongxin and Jingchuan County of Gansu Province in the northwest. The geographical coordinates are 107 °00 east longitude 107 °57km east longitude, 34 °54km north latitude, 35 °14km north latitude, 78 km east-west length, 40 km north-south width, and a total area of 2038 square kilometers.
