Las Vegas (US: /lɑːsˈveɪɡəs/; Spanish for "The Meadows"), often known simply as Vegas, is the 25th-most populous city in the United States, the most populous city in the state of Nevada, and the county seat of Clark County. The city anchors the Las Vegas Valley metropolitan area and is the largest city within the greater Mojave Desert. The Las Vegas Valley as a whole serves as the leading financial, commercial, and cultural center for Nevada.

The city bills itself as The Entertainment Capital of the World, and is famous for its luxurious and extremely large casino-hotels together with their associated activities. It is a top three destination in the United States for business conventions and a global leader in the hospitality industry, claiming more AAA Five Diamond hotels than any other city in the world. Today, Las Vegas annually ranks as one of the world's most visited tourist destinations. The city's tolerance for numerous forms of adult entertainment earned it the title of "Sin City", and has made Las Vegas a popular setting for literature, films, television programs, and music videos.

Wulan County, which belongs to Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Qinghai Province, is located in the central part of Qinghai Province, Haixi Mongolian-Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and the eastern part of Qaidam Basin, with Gonghe County of Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture in the east, Dulan County in the south, Delingha City in the west and Tianjun County in the north. The geographical coordinates are 97 °01 "99 °27" east and 36 °19 "37 °20" north. The county is 216.9 km long from east to west and 112km wide from north to south. The total land area of the county is 12858.16 square kilometers. As of 2010, Wulan County has jurisdiction over 4 towns, a total of 38 village (pastoral) committees, with a total population of 36555, including Han, Mongolian, Tibetan, Hui, Tu, Salar and other 17 ethnic groups. In 2010, Wulan County completed its gross domestic product (GDP).
