Los Angeles (US: /lɔːs ˈændʒələs/ (listen) lawss AN-jəl-əs;[a] Spanish: Los Ángeles [los ˈaŋxeles], lit. 'The Angels'), often referred to by its initials L.A., is the largest city in the state of California and the second most populous city in the United States after New York City, as well as one of the world's most populous megacities. Los Angeles is the commercial, financial, and cultural center of Southern California. With a population of roughly 3.9 million residents within the city limits as of 2020, Los Angeles is known for its Mediterranean climate, ethnic and cultural diversity, being the home of the Hollywood film industry, and its sprawling metropolitan area. The city of Los Angeles lies in a basin in Southern California adjacent to the Pacific Ocean in the west and extending through the Santa Monica Mountains and north into the San Fernando Valley, with the city bordering the San Gabriel Valley to its east. It covers about 469 square miles (1,210 km2), and is the county seat of Los Angeles County, which is the most populous county in the United States with an estimated 9.86 million residents as of 2022.

Fengyang County, Chuzhou County, Anhui Province, is located in the northeast of Anhui Province, the south bank of the middle reaches of the Huaihe River, the Yangtze River Delta urban agglomeration. It is bordered by Mingguang City in the east and Dingyuan County in the south, Huainan City, Huaiyuan County and Bengbu City in the west and northwest, and the Huaihe River and Wuhe County in the north. The county covers an area of 1949.5 square kilometers. Fengyang has the title of "hometown of emperors", "hometown of Flower Drum", "hometown of Reform", "hometown of Quartz", "hometown of Quyi" and "hometown of folk culture and art". It is a famous historical and cultural city in Anhui Province. The topography of Fengyang is high in the south and low in the north, with erosion and erosion mountains and hills in the south, undulating hills in the foothills, slightly undulating river terraces and hills in the middle, and magnanimous alluvial plains in the north. The climate of Fengyang County is characterized by a gradual transition from north subtropical zone to south temperate zone, with mild climate and four seasons.
