Wichita (/ˈwɪtʃɪtɔː/ WITCH-ih-taw) is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas and the county seat of Sedgwick County. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 397,532. The Wichita metro area had a population of 647,610 in 2020. It is located in south-central Kansas on the Arkansas River.
Wichita began as a trading post on the Chisholm Trail in the 1860s and was incorporated as a city in 1870. It became a destination for cattle drives traveling north from Texas to Kansas railroads, earning it the nickname "Cowtown". Wyatt Earp served as a police officer in Wichita for around one year before going to Dodge City.
Shouyang County, which belongs to Jinzhong City, Shanxi Province, is located in the east of Shanxi Province, pillow Hengyue, Luo Taihang, living in the middle and upper reaches of Xiaohe River, the whole terrain is higher in the northwest and north, and gradually tilts to the southeast, showing a ladder-like distribution; the county has a total area of 2115 square kilometers, jurisdiction over 7 towns and 7 townships, with a total population of 214745 in 2018. Shouyang is located between Taiyuan, Yangquan and Yuci, close to Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Tianjin, Beijing and other large and medium-sized cities. Shouyang Railway, 307 National Highway and Provincial Highway Yuyu Highway run through the county, and Taijiu Expressway runs 47 kilometers across the county. Shouyang has been brought into the national highway network; Shouyang has a long history and is rich in cultural tourism resources. Ma Shouyi was founded in the Spring and Autumn period, and the county was founded during the Taikang years of the Western Jin Dynasty, which has a history of more than 2000 years.
