Wichita (/ˈwɪtʃɪtɔː/ WITCH-ih-taw) is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas and the county seat of Sedgwick County. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 397,532. The Wichita metro area had a population of 647,610 in 2020. It is located in south-central Kansas on the Arkansas River.

Wichita began as a trading post on the Chisholm Trail in the 1860s and was incorporated as a city in 1870. It became a destination for cattle drives traveling north from Texas to Kansas railroads, earning it the nickname "Cowtown". Wyatt Earp served as a police officer in Wichita for around one year before going to Dodge City.

Sui County, formerly known as Xiangyi, Gongzhou and Suizhou, is a county under the jurisdiction of Shangqiu City, located in the east of Henan Province, connected with Ningling County in the east, Lianqi County in the west, Zhecheng County and Taikang County in the south, and Minquan County in the north. By the end of 2017, the county has a total area of 926 square kilometers and a resident population of 668500. Suixian is a famous historical and cultural city and red revolutionary base at the provincial level in Henan Province. Qin home Xiangyi County, the Han Dynasty known as "Jinxiu Xiangyi", Song home Gongzhou, gold home Suizhou, known as "thousand-year-old city, century-old state capital". General Su Yu commanded the Battle of Suiqi here.
