Wichita (/ˈwɪtʃɪtɔː/ WITCH-ih-taw) is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas and the county seat of Sedgwick County. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 397,532. The Wichita metro area had a population of 647,610 in 2020. It is located in south-central Kansas on the Arkansas River.

Wichita began as a trading post on the Chisholm Trail in the 1860s and was incorporated as a city in 1870. It became a destination for cattle drives traveling north from Texas to Kansas railroads, earning it the nickname "Cowtown". Wyatt Earp served as a police officer in Wichita for around one year before going to Dodge City.

Suzhou District, which belongs to Jiuquan City, Gansu Province, is located in the northwest of Gansu Province, the east of Jiuquan City, the northern foot of Qilian Mountain and the central and western part of Hexi Corridor. the geographical coordinates are 98 °20mm east longitude, 39 °10mm north latitude, 39 °59km north latitude, bordering Gaotai County and Sunan County in the east, Qilian Mountain and Sunan County in the south, Jiayuguan City in the west, Jinta Jiashan Mountain and Jinta County in the north. It is 104km long from east to west and 84km wide from north to south, with a total area of 3353.74 square kilometers. As of 2016, Suzhou District has jurisdiction over 6 streets, 10 towns and 5 townships, with a total population of 406400, including 15 ethnic groups such as Han, Hui and Yugur. In 2011, the gross domestic product (GDP) of Suzhou District reached 15.278 billion yuan.
