Wichita (/ˈwɪtʃɪtɔː/ WITCH-ih-taw) is the largest city in the U.S. state of Kansas and the county seat of Sedgwick County. As of the 2020 census, the population of the city was 397,532. The Wichita metro area had a population of 647,610 in 2020. It is located in south-central Kansas on the Arkansas River.
Wichita began as a trading post on the Chisholm Trail in the 1860s and was incorporated as a city in 1870. It became a destination for cattle drives traveling north from Texas to Kansas railroads, earning it the nickname "Cowtown". Wyatt Earp served as a police officer in Wichita for around one year before going to Dodge City.
Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County belongs to Tianshui City, Gansu Province, located in the southeast of Gansu Province, northeast of Tianshui City, bordered by Longxian County, Shaanxi Province in the east, Qingshui County in the south, Qinan County in the west, and Huating and Zhuanglang counties in the north. With a total area of 1311.8 square kilometers (2010) and a population of 332496 (2011), e-commerce has entered the rural comprehensive demonstration county. In 2011, Zhangjiachuan achieved a GDP of 1.76576 billion yuan. Zhangjiachuan Hui Autonomous County has Guanshan Qinjiayuan scenery, wheat accumulation, Huaguoshan Shuiliang Cave and other famous scenic spots. In December 2019, Lintan County won the seventh batch of national unity and progress demonstration areas (units).
