Colorado Springs is a home rule municipality in, and the county seat of, El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is the largest city in El Paso County, with a population of 478,961 at the 2020 United States Census, a 15.02% increase since 2010. Colorado Springs is the second-most populous city and the most extensive city in the state of Colorado, and the 40th-most populous city in the United States. It is the principal city of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area and the second-most prominent city of the Front Range Urban Corridor. It is located in east-central Colorado, on Fountain Creek, 70 miles (113 km) south of Denver.
Daozhen Gelao and Miao Autonomous County (Daozhen County for short) is an autonomous county under the jurisdiction of Zunyi City, named after Yin Daozhen, a scholar in the Han Dynasty. Daozhen County is located in the northernmost part of Guizhou Province and is the slope zone of the transition from Yunnan-Guizhou Plateau to Sichuan Basin. It is adjacent to Nanchuan District, Wulong District and Pengshui Miao and Tujia Autonomous County in Chongqing in the northwest and northeast. The southwest and southeast are bordered by Zheng'an County and Wuchuan Gelao and Miao Autonomous County respectively. 180 km to the south of Zunyi, 338 km to Guiyang and 160 km to Chongqing, it is the "joint" between the central Guizhou economic zone and the Chengdu-Chongqing economic zone and the bridgehead of opening up and cooperation between Guizhou and Chongqing.
