Colorado Springs is a home rule municipality in, and the county seat of, El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is the largest city in El Paso County, with a population of 478,961 at the 2020 United States Census, a 15.02% increase since 2010. Colorado Springs is the second-most populous city and the most extensive city in the state of Colorado, and the 40th-most populous city in the United States. It is the principal city of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area and the second-most prominent city of the Front Range Urban Corridor. It is located in east-central Colorado, on Fountain Creek, 70 miles (113 km) south of Denver.

Puge County, which belongs to Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture of Sichuan Province, is located in the east of Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, located between 27 °13 & #39;-27 °30 & #39; in north latitude and 102 °26 & #39;-102 °46 & #39; in east longitude. Butuo County, Ningnan County, Dechang County, Xichang City and Zhaojue County are bordered to the east, south, west, northwest and north respectively. Puji Town, the county seat, is 74 kilometers north from Xichang, the state capital. Located in the southwest of Sichuan Province and southeast of Liangshan Prefecture, it covers an area of 1918 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 34 townships, 153 administrative villages and 8 neighborhood committees. Puge County, which has 21 ethnic groups, including Yi, Han and Hui, is the birthplace of the Yi Torch Festival. It is an ethnic minority county with Yi as the main body and approved by the State Council.
