Colorado Springs is a home rule municipality in, and the county seat of, El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is the largest city in El Paso County, with a population of 478,961 at the 2020 United States Census, a 15.02% increase since 2010. Colorado Springs is the second-most populous city and the most extensive city in the state of Colorado, and the 40th-most populous city in the United States. It is the principal city of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area and the second-most prominent city of the Front Range Urban Corridor. It is located in east-central Colorado, on Fountain Creek, 70 miles (113 km) south of Denver.

Menghai County, located in the southwest of Yunnan Province and the west of Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture, is located between 99 °56 °E and 100 °41'E and 21 °28 °M ü r 22 °28'N. It is bordered by Jinghong City to the east, Simao City to the northeast, Lancang County to the northwest and Myanmar to the west and south. The border is 146.6 kilometers long. The east-west horizontal distance is 77 km, the north-south vertical distance is 115km, with a total area of 5511 square kilometers, of which mountain area accounts for 93.45%, dam area accounts for 6.55%, the highest elevation is 2429 meters, and the lowest elevation is 535m. With a total population of 331850 (2010), the government is stationed in Menghai Town. Menghai County is the hometown of the world-famous "Pu'er tea" and the earliest place of tea production in China. It has the wild "tea tree king" of 1700 years ago.
