Colorado Springs is a home rule municipality in, and the county seat of, El Paso County, Colorado, United States. It is the largest city in El Paso County, with a population of 478,961 at the 2020 United States Census, a 15.02% increase since 2010. Colorado Springs is the second-most populous city and the most extensive city in the state of Colorado, and the 40th-most populous city in the United States. It is the principal city of the Colorado Springs metropolitan area and the second-most prominent city of the Front Range Urban Corridor. It is located in east-central Colorado, on Fountain Creek, 70 miles (113 km) south of Denver.

Toksun County, which belongs to Turpan City, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region, is located in the central and eastern part of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region, at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountains and in the west of Turpan Basin. Its geographical coordinates are: longitude 87 °1405"-89 °11008 "east, latitude 41 °21114"-43 °180011" north, adjacent to Gaochang District, Turpan City in the east, Yuli County in Bazhou to the south, Heshuo and Hejing County in Bazhou to the west, and Urumqi to the north. The county town of Toksun is 162 kilometers away from Urumqi. Tokson County covers an area of 16171.47 square kilometers and has a population of 138000 (2013).
