New York, often called New York City[a] or NYC, is the most populous city in the United States. Chengxiang District (Putian County, Xinghua Prefecture) is under the jurisdiction of Putian City, Fujian Province, also known as Licheng, located in the middle of the coast of Fujian Province, the urban center of Putian, the central part of Xinghua Plain, the west bank of the Taiwan Strait and Meizhou Bay in the south. Relying on the provincial capitals Fuzhou and Mawei in the north, Rongqiao Development Zone in the east and Meizhou Bay Development Zone in the east, it is a political, economic, cultural, educational, scientific and technological center and transportation hub of Putian City, covering an area of 509square kilometers.
