New York, often called New York City[a] or NYC, is the most populous city in the United States. Home to the headquarters of the United Nations, New York is an important center for international diplomacy, an established safe haven for global investors, and is sometimes described as the capital of the world.

Gangbei District, which is under the jurisdiction of Guigang City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous region, was established in 1996 with the establishment of Guigang City at the prefectural level and is a county-level administrative district. Gangbei District, located in the middle of Xunyu Plain in Guangxi, is the geometric center of Nanning, Liuzhou, Beihai and Wuzhou, as well as the political, economic and cultural center of Guigang City. Gangbei District is an important cement production and gold and silver mining base in Guangxi, the main production base of milk buffalo and the largest orchid production base in Guangxi. In 2010, the urban area is 45 square kilometers, with a population of more than 400,000. Gangbei District is the hometown of Shi Dakai, the wing king of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom, and Luo Ergang, a famous historian.
