New York, often called New York City[a] or NYC, is the most populous city in the United States. Home to the headquarters of the United Nations, New York is an important center for international diplomacy, an established safe haven for global investors, and is sometimes described as the capital of the world.

Langxi County, which belongs to Xuancheng City, Anhui Province, was founded in the first year of Duangong in the Northern Song Dynasty (AD 988). Located in the southeast border of Anhui Province, at the junction of Anhui, Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces, it is known as the "thoroughfare of the three provinces" and has a superior location. It is an important producing area of grain, oil and silkworm cocoons in Anhui Province and a national commodity grain base county; the main specialties are green tea, yellow wine, golden jujube, stuffy sauce, wild goose, silverfish, green shrimp, crab, soft-shelled turtle, etc.; the main minerals are fluorite, yellow sand, limestone, granite, kaolin, pyrophyllite and so on.
