Huangnan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, an autonomous prefecture under the jurisdiction of Qinghai Province, is located in the southeast of Qinghai Province, named because it is located in the south of the Yellow River; the terrain is high in the south and low in the north, belonging to the continental climate of the plateau.
