New York, often called New York City[a] or NYC, is the most populous city in the United States. With a 2020 population of 8,804,190 distributed over 300.46 square miles (778.2 km2), New York City is also the most densely populated major city in the United States, and is more than twice as populous as second-place Los Angeles. New York City lies at the southern tip of New York State, and constitutes the geographical and demographic center of both the Northeast megalopolis and the New York metropolitan area, the largest metropolitan area in the world by urban landmass. Home to the headquarters of the United Nations, New York is an important center for international diplomacy, an established safe haven for global investors, and is sometimes described as the capital of the world.

Wujiaqu is a county-level city directly under the jurisdiction of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region. it is located at the northern foot of Tianshan Mountain, in the southeast of Junggar Basin, connected with Changji City and Urumqi City, and is the economic hinterland on the north slope of Tianshan Mountain in Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region. it is also the nearest green passage from Urumqi to Gurbantonggut Desert. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Yang, Feng, du and other five families drew a canal from the Laolong River for farming, known as the "Wujiaqu". Wujiaqu was used as the name of a natural town until 2001. In September 2002, the State Council approved the establishment of Wujiaqu City at the county level. On January 19, 2004, Wujiaqu City was officially listed, which is a county-level city directly under the jurisdiction of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous region and the seat of the sixth Division of Xinjiang production and Construction Corps.
