Memphis is a city in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is the seat of Shelby County in the southwest part of the state; it is situated along the Mississippi River. With a population of 633,104 at the 2020 U.S. census, Memphis is the second-most populous city in Tennessee, after Nashville.

Memphis is the fifth-most populous city in the Southeast, the nation's 28th-largest overall, as well as the largest city bordering the Mississippi River. The Memphis metropolitan area includes West Tennessee and the greater Mid-South region, which includes portions of neighboring Arkansas, Mississippi and the Missouri Bootheel. One of the more historic and culturally significant cities of the Southern United States, Memphis has a wide variety of landscapes and distinct neighborhoods.

Wuyi County is under the jurisdiction of Hengshui City, Hebei Province, located in the southeast of Hebei Province, northeast of Hengshui City, Fucheng County, Jingxian County, Taocheng District and Shenzhou City to the east, Zaoqiang County to the south and Wuqiang County to the north. It is located within the radiation range of Beijing-Tianjin urban economic circle and port-adjacent economic radius, adjacent to Botou City in the northeast, 27km wide from east to west, 42.5km from north to south, with a total area of 830.1 square kilometers. Wuyi County has jurisdiction over 7 towns, 2 townships and 1 district, with a total population of 355000 (2012). It was identified as a national key county for poverty alleviation by the State Council in 1994, was listed as a key county for poverty alleviation and development by the State Council in 2001, and was named "the hometown of vegetables in Hebei" in 2002. On September 29, 2018, the people's Government of Hebei Province issued a notice formally approving Wuyi County to withdraw from poverty.
