Memphis is a city in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is the seat of Shelby County in the southwest part of the state; it is situated along the Mississippi River. With a population of 633,104 at the 2020 U.S. census, Memphis is the second-most populous city in Tennessee, after Nashville.

Memphis is the fifth-most populous city in the Southeast, the nation's 28th-largest overall, as well as the largest city bordering the Mississippi River. The Memphis metropolitan area includes West Tennessee and the greater Mid-South region, which includes portions of neighboring Arkansas, Mississippi and the Missouri Bootheel. One of the more historic and culturally significant cities of the Southern United States, Memphis has a wide variety of landscapes and distinct neighborhoods.

Yuanzhou District, which belongs to Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous region, is located in the south of Ningxia, the northeast foot of Liupan Mountain and the central and western part of the Loess Plateau. It lies between 105 °28 degrees east longitude and 106 °30 'east longitude and 36 °38 degrees north latitude. It is bordered by Pengyang County in the east, Jingyuan County in the south, Xiji County in the west, Haiyuan County and Tongxin County in the north, and Huanxian County and Longde County in Gansu Province in the northeast and southwest, respectively. With a total area of 2739.01 square kilometers, it has jurisdiction over 3 streets, 7 towns and 4 townships. As of 2017, the total number of registered households in Yuanzhou District is 156100, and the total registered population is 464800. In 2017, Yuanzhou District achieved a GDP of 11.766 billion yuan, exceeding 11 billion yuan for the first time. September 2017
