Memphis is a city in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is the seat of Shelby County in the southwest part of the state; it is situated along the Mississippi River. With a population of 633,104 at the 2020 U.S. census, Memphis is the second-most populous city in Tennessee, after Nashville.

Memphis is the fifth-most populous city in the Southeast, the nation's 28th-largest overall, as well as the largest city bordering the Mississippi River. The Memphis metropolitan area includes West Tennessee and the greater Mid-South region, which includes portions of neighboring Arkansas, Mississippi and the Missouri Bootheel. One of the more historic and culturally significant cities of the Southern United States, Memphis has a wide variety of landscapes and distinct neighborhoods.

Xuanhan County, which belongs to Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, is located at the southern foot of Dabashan Mountain in the northeast of Sichuan Basin, between longitude 107 °22, longitude 108 °32, longitude 31 °06, latitude 31 °49, Chengkou County, Chongqing in the northeast, Kaizhou District, Chongqing in the east, Kaijiang County in the south, Dachuan District, Tongchuan District and Pingchang County in the west, and Wanyuan County in the north. Located in the joint of Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei and Shaanxi, it is a satellite city of Dazhou. The county seat is 32 kilometers away from Dazhou City and 42 kilometers from Dazhou Airport. Xiang-Yu Railway, Chongqing-Shaanxi Expressway and Dawan Expressway pass through the border, only 2.5 hours to Chongqing. Xuanhan County covers an area of 4271 square kilometers, 31 towns, 19 townships and 4 ethnic townships. In 2016, the total registered population was 1.3234 million (permanent resident population 1.0315 million).
