Memphis is a city in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is the seat of Shelby County in the southwest part of the state; it is situated along the Mississippi River. With a population of 633,104 at the 2020 U.S. census, Memphis is the second-most populous city in Tennessee, after Nashville.

Yumen is a county-level city under the jurisdiction of Jiuquan City, Gansu Province. It is located in the northwest of Gansu Province, west of Hexi Corridor, east of Jiayuguan City and Jinta County, west of Guazhou County, and adjacent to Subei Mongolian Autonomous County in the north and south. The geographical coordinates are between longitude 96 °15 & # 39 × 98 °30 & # 39 39, latitude 39 °40 & # 39 × 41 °00 & # 39; between 114km from east to west and 112.5 km from north to south, with a total area of 13500 square kilometers. By 2019, Yumen had jurisdiction over 2 new and old urban areas, 3 industrial parks, 10 towns and 2 ethnic townships, with a total population of 180000, including 29 ethnic minorities such as Han, Hui, Mongolian, Tibetan and Dongxiang. In 2018, Yumen achieved a GDP of 151.2.
