The Kansas City metropolitan area is a bi-state metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri. Dayu County (known as Dayu County before 1957) is located in the southwest of Jiangxi Province, 75 kilometers southwest of Ganzhou City, the upper reaches of the Zhangjiang River and the northern foot of Yuling, between longitude 114 °~ 114 °44 'east and latitude 25 °15 °25 °37' north.
