The Kansas City metropolitan area is a bi-state metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri. Its 14 counties straddle the border between the U.S. states of Missouri (9 counties) and Kansas (5 counties). With 8,472 square miles (21,940 km2) and a population of more than 2.2 million people, it is the second-largest metropolitan area centered in Missouri (after Greater St. Louis) and is the largest metropolitan area in Kansas, though Wichita is the largest metropolitan area centered in Kansas. Alongside Kansas City, Missouri, these are the suburbs with populations above 100,000: Overland Park, Kansas; Kansas City, Kansas; Olathe, Kansas; Independence, Missouri; and Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Qianzhong, known as Baoning in ancient times, is a county-level city hosted by Nanchong City, Sichuan Province. it is located in the northeast of Sichuan Basin, in the middle reaches of Jialing River, at the southern foot of Qinba Mountain, surrounded by mountains and water in three directions. It is bordered by Bazhong City and Yilong County in the east, Nanbu County in the south, Jiange County in the west and Cangxi County in the north. For more than 2000 years, it has been an important military town for Bashu. Langzhong City covers an area of 1878 square kilometers and has jurisdiction over 5 streets, 19 towns and 4 townships, with a total population of 859192 (2016). It is a demonstration city of ecological construction in China, an excellent tourist city in China, a thousand-year-old county in the world, and the hometown of Chinese Spring Festival culture.
