The Kansas City metropolitan area is a bi-state metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri. Its 14 counties straddle the border between the U.S. states of Missouri (9 counties) and Kansas (5 counties). With 8,472 square miles (21,940 km2) and a population of more than 2.2 million people, it is the second-largest metropolitan area centered in Missouri (after Greater St. Louis) and is the largest metropolitan area in Kansas, though Wichita is the largest metropolitan area centered in Kansas. Alongside Kansas City, Missouri, these are the suburbs with populations above 100,000: Overland Park, Kansas; Kansas City, Kansas; Olathe, Kansas; Independence, Missouri; and Lee's Summit, Missouri.
Qianyang County, which belongs to Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is located in the west of Guanzhong, Gansu Province, Lingtai County in the north, Chencang District in the south, Linyou and Fengxiang County in the east and Longxian County in the west. Between latitude 34 °34 "- 34 °56" north and longitude 106 °56 "15"-107 °22 "31" east, with a total area of 996.46 square kilometers. Qianyang County is the hometown of Yan Kui, one of the 72 sages of Confucius, an important post station of the ancient Silk Road and the hometown of Chinese folk art embroidery. Yanqi Wanglutai has a long history; there is the first named national wetland, health paradise and wetland model-Qianhu National Wetland Park in Shaanxi Province. In 2018, Qianyang County has jurisdiction over seven towns with a resident population of 125700, realizing the GD.
