The Kansas City metropolitan area is a bi-state metropolitan area anchored by Kansas City, Missouri. Its 14 counties straddle the border between the U.S. states of Missouri (9 counties) and Kansas (5 counties). With 8,472 square miles (21,940 km2) and a population of more than 2.2 million people, it is the second-largest metropolitan area centered in Missouri (after Greater St. Louis) and is the largest metropolitan area in Kansas, though Wichita is the largest metropolitan area centered in Kansas. Alongside Kansas City, Missouri, these are the suburbs with populations above 100,000: Overland Park, Kansas; Kansas City, Kansas; Olathe, Kansas; Independence, Missouri; and Lee's Summit, Missouri.

Ganjingzi District, which belongs to Dalian City, Liaoning Province, is located in the west and northwest of Dalian, bordering Jinzhou District in the northeast, Shahekou District in the south and Lushunkou District in the southwest. It faces the Yellow Sea in the east and south and the Bohai Sea in the north, with a total area of 502 square kilometers. Ganjingzi District is one of the four districts in the city, with wide topography in the southwest and narrow in the northeast. The land road in the north of the district is located in the throat of Dalian, and railways and highways form a network. Located in the district, CAAC Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport has domestic and foreign routes extending in all directions. There are many professional docks on the coast and shipping is well developed. In 2018, Ganjingzi District has jurisdiction over 16 streets and another farm with a registered population of 798338, achieving a GDP of 98.12749 billion yuan, of which the added value of the primary industry is 9.
Airport In Ganjingzi District - Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport
Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport (Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport, IATA: DLC, ICAO: ZYTL), located in Ganjingzi District, Dalian City, Liaoning Province, China, is a 4E-level civil transport airport. One of the important airports, it is a national first-class civil international airport, a major domestic trunk line airport and an international scheduled flight airport.    
Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport was opened to traffic on October 6, 1972. In 1984, 1992, 1999 and 2005, the airport was expanded and upgraded successively.   On September 6, 2011, the third-phase terminal building of the airport was completed and put into use, and the annual passenger handling capacity of the airport rose to 16 million to 20 million passengers.  
According to the official website of Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport in November 2017, the airport covers an area of ​​3.45 million square meters and has a 3300-meter-long runway; the area of ​​the apron is 660,000 square meters, and there are 42 parking spaces (including 18 corridor bridges); The total area of ​​the terminal building is 135,000 square meters; a total of 88 cities and 146 domestic and overseas routes have been opened.  
In 2016, the passenger throughput of Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport was 15,258,200 passengers, a year-on-year increase of 7.8%, exceeding 15 million passengers for the first time.  
In 2017, the passenger throughput of Dalian Zhoushuizi International Airport was 17.5 million, a year-on-year increase of 14.7%, the largest increase since 2014. The cargo and mail throughput was 166,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.1%; the number of takeoffs and landings was 141,000, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%; they ranked 23rd, 17th, and 21st in mainland China respectively.
